http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0596075886776687347-4 A former Hoosiers player told ESPN on Thursday that he and at least five current IU players were interviewed about Wilson's treatment of players in meetings with athletics department officials and university lawyers during the past two weeks word is it's similar to the reason Illinois fired Tim Beckman prior to the 2015 season

I don't know if Texas Oregon or alabama are the richest now. Alabama and Oregon have to be rolling in new merch money and Oregon have the nike investment behind them. I wouldn't be surprised if Oregon could outbid texas at this point.

What's the coaching vacancies looking like now? Who wants to go to IU and coach some football?

If this is true the remaining open jobs would be Oregon, Baylor, Houston, Nevada, Georgia State, Florida Atlantic, San Jose State, Indiana, Western Kentucky On December 02 2016 07:12 farvacola wrote: I expect the dude from Western Michigan to pick up a high profile job pretty soon, Indiana would be a good fit IMO. yeah his name is pretty popular popping up as a target for pretty much every higher end open job. All the P5 ones and Houston I think have expressed interest

Also I don't think Les is going to touch the Baylor job. I don't think any sort of high profile coach is going to touch it. Even if the NCAA doesn't end up doing anything immediately they are basically undergoing a self imposed death penalty. They have 1 recruit committed for 2017. they're going to be fucked

well this was really quick. Guess no PJ Fleck to Indiana promoted the DC to interim coach and then actual head coach in just a matter of a few hours

Being at a school next to OSU, ND, and Michigan means anyone short of Chip Kelly is going to struggle to win 8 games, and being in the Big 10 means it's tough to actually get a "great" job in the Midwest. In some ways these Houston/Boise/East Carolina jobs are better than low-Teir P5 jobs, because you can actually win as a good coach and showcase your way into a top 5 job in a P5 conference.
