b) ALWAYS know what's near your nuts!!!! Interesting on the nerve issue leading to muscle fatigue. Some slight similarities (and I have had neck issues before) but not nearly as bad symptoms. I don't have any problems holding my (almost 8 m.o.) son but even doing rotator cuff work my other arm (bicep) will start to tighten. Tried something new today at the gym. Did curls at much lower reps (more sets and more weight). I also did some neck/shoulder stretches between sets (and pre-hab before the workout) to see if I could keep things open/relaxed. Went pretty well (my last reps were difficult in a way that's much more in-line with what I'm used to with other work). I'll probably continue something similar as it should be enough for my goals. Speaking of goals - I'm finally squatting more than I can bench! (and adding weight at a good rate). *Workout weight, not 3RM* Goal by the end of the year is to squat about 30% over BP.

If there is less than 0.5g fat there should be less than 5 calories from fat which should be rounded to zero. No? Anyway a nutrition label based on serving size with all the rounding makes it hard to see what you get (even the total calories are rounded to the nearest 10).

I work at a beverage company and all the bullshit around nutritionals and labeling is astounding.

The thresholds/ranges and what not for various nutritional contents, what they're allowed to choose to use for the names of ingredients based on consumer perception, shit like you're allowed to label something organic even if you use something non-organic if there's no organic substitute, etc.

They showed me this no salt added turkey breast meat that has 14g protein/2 oz, or 112g/lb/480 calories, can this be right? I think this is about as much protein/calorie as my whey. http://www.plainvillefarms.com/products/retailers/deli-meat/no-salt-added-turkey-breast-bulk/ It's also $10.99/lb which is about as much as NY strips around here. Yeah, those deli ham slices are expensive, their protein values are nothing amazing. I buy a whey from Costco, it's a 2kg package for $45CAD when on sale once a year, and it's 35g of protein for 40g. That 14g/2oz is nothing impressive imo, that's 24.7% protein versus standard chicken skinless chicken breast which is 30%~. That kind of ham here is around $27/kg, so $12.15CAD~, so a little bit cheaper what you have. Chicken breast here at superstore is $13-$15/kg for boneless and skinless, and around $9 for skin + bone. Once a month~ they go on sale for $10-$12~/kg, which is 27g protein / dollar. Since usually people pay $25-$30/kg for soyless protein powder (unless they're buying some odd fancy stuff), which is usually 80-90% protein, which works out to be 31g protein / dollar. So yeah, protein powder is hardly cheaper than actual food, since when you buy Tuna on sale for a dollar a can, that's around 19g protein/ dollar. 4L milk has 128g of protein for $4.50~, so that's around the same price as protein powder at 28.5g protein/ dollar.
