Brazil didn't vote, 2 votes were invalid (or 2 countries I missed didn't vote)
So...can Ali convince 30 people to change their votes now that they see Blatter is not invincible?

If it was 10-15 votes I'd have said it was possible. 30 ? That's gonna be really hard.

So what factors do you use when the vote is between 2 individuals?

Yeah it won't happen. Still, this was a major win for 2 things:
1) World sees FIFA as corrupt and the majority of FIFA being fine with that giving the world an even worse view/expectation of FIFA 2) UEFA sees that there is backing outside of Europe for a change in direction
I just want to hear about some sponsors jumping ship since there was no change in the failed leadership. Maybe I'm too optimistic

They won't, for two main reasons: 1: They have contracts that would involve huge payments if they cancel sponsorship, and I highly doubt FIFA would have signed anything with a morality clause. 2: The World Cup is the most lucrative sponsorship possible right now, and someone else would doubtlessly step right in and reap the benefits.

Goddamnit. Well let's see Uefa fold now.
Edit: Prince Ali conceded, Blatter re-elected.

Prince Ali pulls out of the election. Blatter is the new president of FIFA.

GG let's hope that UEFA pulls out of FIFA now...

"Let's go FIFA let's go FIFa..."
Fuck us all.
Blatter too stronk. Still a fair few ppl had the balls.
Fact is Blatter played this so smart. Grew the game well beyond Europe and South America. Pretty much neutering them.
The only reason UEFA isn't taking stronger actions is because they are pretty fucked up themselves

Hope is for the weak.
edit:
He could have said 'no, let's go further and perhaps I would have received more votes
Classy Blatter.

I´m still hoping for nature to take care of Blatter..

ENJOY LIFE GUYS. ENJOY IT

Actually wouldn't mind it if euro federations plus select others boycotted the next two WCs in favor of a rebel alliance tournament. It'd be pretty cool.

EURO every two years will be great. Make it happen. We can even allow some important teams like Argentina and Brazil to play in it.
