Like seriously what the fucking fuck. How in the first place do Asia and Africa have the most "votes" in this when there leagues are as corrupt as the people running the show! Ayyyyyy so annoyed. Had to stay at gym an extra 40 minutes to cool off as i had shit day at work too hahaha. Fucking joke, hope to god Greg Dyke grows some balls and withdraws from the World Cup, will at least harm the revenue as we always sends 1000s of fans over to drink and stuff xD Then i hope they go even further and start a tournament of our own, where we invite countries over to compete. Just small to start off, Netherlands Germany France etc, people who hate Blatter and FIFA and see if we can build it to compete with Euro. Or maybe even Plattini is going to do what he wanted with EUROs anyway and start to invite Brazil Uruguay Argentina etc anyway which be awesomeee | ||

You can say these smaller countries are not footballing powers but the revenue that comes in fromt these places is absurd and money matters. More than anything else pretty much. Your English league TV rights wouldnt be worth all those billions if it wasnt for all these "voters and the people they represent's" money at stake. He has done a shit ton to promote the game outside the established world and hes got them all in his pocket because the kickbacks the bureaucrats at these smaller federations get are absurd. And then he made sure Governments cant get involved and monitor them by saying.. well if Govts intervene your country is banned. Effectively saying no football for you. The only people with enough power to challenge him in Europe are thence kinda fucked. You can have your own tournament and FIFA will make sure no one will pay to watch it. Everyone will stream illegally because TV channels around the Federations wont have shit to watch. The hassle is just not worth it for the existing federations. Legal issues are totally different monster. And frankly the war of attrition will mean football loses in the end. Its a strong arming exercise thats 2 decades in the making. You've got nothing on Blatter. Just the fact that he lost so many votes was a massive victory. Its all very nice to talk about the good of the game but the intricacies and complications to cleaning it up are way more than anyone can take on. Its literally evil mastermind world domination level shit that has gone on here. I dont think anyone expecting Blatter to coast was being cynical at all. It was just realistic. Think about it for you and me football is something between 4 and 22 people running for a ball to kick it through 2 goalposts. We played it at our parents garden, at school, some of us in youth teams but this is football for us. Now imagine you are a 12 year old boy from Bhutan or Namibia and see football for the first time. You think hey this looks fun and something called "FIFA" (no idea what this is but who cares) build a center in the next town so you are going there. The very first thing you see there is not a ball it is a big yellow McDonalds logo. You have no idea yet but this will make you fat in 10 years because its burned into your head. Thats why the sponsors dont give a fuck about Europe because the big new markets are all in Asia and Africa. Or say someone in Asia watches the WC and says hey this Robben is amazing and the announcer sayed he plays for Bayern Munich. I have no idea what "Bayern" is or where the fuck "Munich" is, the only thing i know is that they opened a shop recently so i go buy stuff and spend 1000$ in my livetime for a football club that is 15000 kilometers away. The reason FIFA and Blatter work is because they literally shit money. And not just for corrupt people for everyone for players with higher market value for clubs and their expansions for sponsors for everyone. UEFA will never ever quit because a lot of people and a lot of companies make too much money with the current system. Blaming Blatter for everything is easy because he looks like the football devil and kinda lives in his own reality but you dont survive for that long without a lot of people benefiting from your work (and i mean legal money here). And be honest we will watch the WC final 2022 in Quatar. Because even we hardecore fans who are more informed about this then 99% of the rest of the world dont give a fuck in the end. | ||

Yes you can't change FIFA if you remove blatter most people know that BUT it is the start, if you get someone in who wants to start the change it can happen. If you have a president/prime minister who is corrupt or is a dictator and you get rid of them, the guy/lady who goes in next starts to change it. It doesn't happen over night but it is very good start. I get that what FIFA has done for African/Asian zones but that still doesn't give them the power they have, with so many federations. They should be shrunk, or lets just give America 50 federations as well  | ||
