Prince Ali claims that BEFORE the arrests he had 60 votes outside of Europe... I still think Blatter wins here with something like 115 to 120 votes (needing 105 of 209 to win) but any small swing could go their way. And frankly if Prince Ali just told Africa that he would double goal grants if elected he would probably get half Africa too. | ||

Problem is that individual associations that were going to vote against Blatter are now going to be pushed around and bullied at the mere suggestion that he won't get in. There will be no vote against Blatter except a tiny minority except in Europe. This is not a democracy.  good idea. FIFA should be good this year anyway as last year the new engine was to buggy it felt but it was a good direction to lead into so hopefully this time it will be very smooth and crisp. Like if you played FIFA 15 you will notice that the running into people getting random freekicks and the goalkeepers doing the most randomest of things needs fixing asap. | ||

Both Asia and Africa have internally agreed on Blatter, it would be very surprising if a lot of them were to vote for Ali. Keep in mind that they didn't even allow him to speak at their own congress. Before the scandal everyone expected Blatter to win in the first round, now it might actually take a second, and that would already be a success.
