QB: Matt Ryan ($24) -- I believe this was a bit of an overpay, but it was approaching a point where I was going to have to roll with Andy Dalton and Geno Smith or some other combo in tandem, and I wasn't comfortable with that. He went for a similar to Newton, Brady, Romo, etc. so I didn't feel that it was too bad. RB: Andre Ellington ($35) -- Again, a bit of an overpay, all of the elite RBs were gone and I didn't care for what was left, I had to acquire an RB some time. It was that or be outmuscled for Zac Stacy, and I like Ellington more. The uncertainty concerns me, but I think Arizona's going to have a crazy offense this year. WR: Antonio Brown ($47) -- I had him pegged at $44, and Nelson was the only available stud WR left, so I paid a few dollars extra for him. I was stunned I picked him up for this price considering my draft was littered with Steelers fans and there's room for progression with his limited TD scoring last year. WR: Torrey Smith ($11) -- Picked him up late in the draft at a value. Thought this was a pretty good price because I was hurting for extra WRs. TE: Kyle Rudolph ($6) -- I have no idea why he's going this low, but as you'll see in a bit, he'll hopefully fit into my TE strategy of "pick a bunch from the bucket and hope one hits". RB/WR: Doug Martin ($28) -- I was halfway between price enforcing and wanting to bid on potential and I was caught with my hand in the cookie jar. I had him at $30 and am quite low on him, so I was okay with the price, and I have other WR options for this slot, but I think my season might hinge on him, and that terrifies me. WR/TE: Kendall Wright ($8) -- Another late round value. Lots of catches and targets, low TD. I think there's top 20 potential here. DEF: New England ($1) -- Autodrafted this after I didn't nominate in time. Not thrilled by it. K: Justin Tucker ($2) -- First kicker off the board, who's usually super accurate and no one seemed to want. I don't know why people did this, it felt like a deal. BN: Riley Cooper ($7) -- First player nominated all night with a whole bunch of Philly fans involved. I felt that this was a great deal because people didn't have perspective on him. I think Maclin's going to injure himself and Cooper's going to be a stud. Will likely play the matchup game with him, Wright, Smith etc. BN: Zach Ertz ($7) -- Another bizarrely cheap pickup among Eagles fans. Hope that he or Rudolph is any good. BN: Eric Ebron ($4) -- My first TE of the night. Probably cut-able now that I managed to get the other two. Will hold on him in case he's an animal. BN: Jarret Boykin ($5) -- Picked up as my 2nd receiver after Brown as a contingency plan if I couldn't get any second tier guys, which I managed to do. Another wait and see guy. If Adams takes his job, he's cut-able. BN: Maurice Jones-Drew ($8) -- This is a flier that MJD can have a zombie like season and become a CJ1K where he just gets 1,000 yards and 6 TDs before injuring himself. BN: Josh McCown ($4) -- It was go for him or wait on Flacco or Smith by people who had more money than I did. Tough call, but in case he's competent my season won't end if Ryan is injured. I'm really scared by Martin and my lack of depth at RB. Will definitely be scouring the waiver wire for RBs in the case of injury. The matchup's game with my WRs and TEs is going to be critical week to week as well. Overall thoughts on the prices I paid and so on?

Your rbs are a little scary though lol I think I bungled the handling of my money with regards to my RBs. I like Ellington a ton, but if he or Martin busts, I'm fighting a tough uphill battle. Time to hit Vegas with the under for 49ers wins? Line's at 10.5 on Bovada.

Regardless, the Niners offense is going to have to step it up. Bringing Boone back into the fold is good news on that front.

The NFL is not going to support it's players taking federally illegal substances the severity or strength of the drug does not matter. We are talking legality. And honestly who cares if its a bullshit rule. They are so many bullshit rules employers make you do but you do them. If he can't follow simple rules he's an idiot. From what I understand the amount of marajuana in his sample was very low, low enough to pass a WADA test, which is what the olympics use. Tbh this whole situation has been a disaster, Josh Gordon is an idiot, the NFL anti-marajuana policy is stupid, the verdict also took way to long to be announced. Even the NFLPA fucked up, by not doing more to raise the amount of marajuana needed to constitute a positive test. I guess they were too busy making sure that the NFL doesn't test for HGH, which is almost certainly used by a huge amount of players and should be considered a much bigger problem in a professional sport than recreational drugs.

QB: Matt Ryan, Roethlisberger RB: McCoy, Ball, Ellington, Mathews, Sankey WR: Julio Jones, Keenan Allen, Michael Floyd, Garcon TE: Ertz, Fleener K: Tucker D/ST: Browns Really happy overall. Defenses are always a position that I add and drop nearly each week to play matchups. My Tight Ends are a weakness, but there was a run on them and I missed on Davis, Witten, and Cameron. I took Ellington and Garcon with my next two picks though, so I don't mind.

And yea, I'm weak on TE. But I had to be to get two good wide receivers and a deep bench. I'm hoping I can trade later on in the season for a TE.

After the elite 5 RBs are gone, Ellington is my #6. All the RBs in tier 2 have question marks, but Ellington has the highest upside and hasnt been a major injury risk.

EDIT: I think I'm dangerously high on Ellington, and I still have him as RB13.
