I hope to pick him up in my draft tonight. awful lot of mileage on his legs, hes probably not gonna get any better than he already has been and if anything we can probably expect some decline.
also hes got some backups with a lot of talent behind him so the seahawks can give other rbs carries if they want to

Good for you getting him later. haha wow I was really being pessimistic about my team. Yahoo gave me the highest draft grade in my league To be fair, I have a gigantic "DO NOT DRAFT UNLESS IT'S REQUIRED TO SAVE MANKIND" sign on Lynch, so there's that. I guess you just took guys I'm quite high on in general. Who knows though, I'm wrong about this stuff all of the time. Yeah I definitely still think I was wrong taking him but it's not the end of the world. I looked more at some of the other teams in my league. Someone took Lamar Miller as their first RB in the 5th round Ugh, we have no evidence that Lamar Miller can rush the ball with any competence and he might not even have a job. He's on my "no fly" list this year. On August 29 2014 04:09 Leporello wrote: Why do people doubt Beast Mode (Lynch)? One of the few workhorse RBs left in the league.
I hope to pick him up in my draft tonight. There's a trend of guys who have had a ton of carries compiled in previous seasons either being ineffective of injured after a certain period. The flags are up for Lynch. It's similar to baseball pitchers who throw a lot of innings, including the postseason (see Adam Wainwright this year). I was hoping to pick up Moreno to get on my bench because I figured he has a good shot at being the #1 back there but unfortunately he was taken before my pick in the round I wanted him. I kind of like Moreno this year despite the injury, simply because I think there's a lot of upside with almost no risk at his ADP. He's currently going in the 10th round in ESPN ADP! For a guy who might be the starter? On board with Shonn Greene for that reason as well (13th round ADP). I was trying to grab him at the end of the 9th which is slightly ahead of that but yeah seems like good upside. I was considering Shonn Greene before hand as a later pick to but someone took him in the 8th in my league which was just way too early edit. actually lamar miller guy took shonn greene in the 8th never mind im an idiot it was 8th pick in the 12th round lol That's a decent range for Greene. Weird that he'd reach on Miller for that first pick though. Greene in the 12th round isn't awful, but I still wouldn't take him. He was really disappointing when given opportunites to start with the Jets. I have him rated at 124 overall in my league, which is fairly standard, so that's the 13th. It's a fine range, but nothing I'd go gaga over. It's more of a "this could turn into something really good but most likely will be blegh" thing IMO.

Lynch could lose you your league. I'd avoid.

I get the doubts on Beast Mode, but there still aren't many RBs ahead of them.
I'd still put Lynch in the top 5 or 6, and a viable first pick. I'd pick him over DeMarco Murray, for instance. If you're ranking him outside the top 10 RBs, I think you're really over-thinking things. He's a great RB on a great team with a good line, and his job security and time share still looks to be better than what most RBs contend with. He's not more liable to lose you your league than relying on someone like Zac Stacy. He's probably an even safer pick than Arian Foster (albeit, without as much upside).

I still have Lynch as the 5th or 6th RB but I would take a slew of receivers over him.

Watkins got injured again.
Oh man, I wonder how many games it'll be before his owners drop him in mass.

agreed with this. hes got tread on his tires, and some people behind him just like gore, but it's still pretty much his job to lose. he's probably got at least 2 more years of being the genuine bellcow there

This is likely his last season in Seattle due to cap issues and contract stuff

Is it just me, or is Zac Stacy not as good as his ranking suggest? Anyone getting Cunningham as a handcuff?

Bullshit is bullshit. People are way too judgmental of people who break stupid rules but are too keen to defend the people who make the stupid rules. I'm calling a spade a spade.

The only thing with Lynch is that Seattle's offensive line is a little suspect. It hasn't really held him back in the past, but it's very clear that the yards that Lynch has gained over the years are much harder yards than what you'd expect for the average back. This makes him more of a risk for rapid regression.

How is it bullshit? You're taking an illegal drug that's specified not only by the NFL but also the CBA and the NFLPA. ANd to think this suspension is just with him smoking a little dope is hilarious. the kid had a DUI to defend too. Holy shit the kid is a retard throwing millions away just to smoke dope. If I smoked and failed a drug test at work I would be fired instantly without a second thought. The fact he's merely getting suspended shuld be a blessing to this idiot.

GG Aldon may be a fuck up in life but he's easily the most prolific pass rusher today, no slow starts for kaep.

Not just 3rd preseason game, but overall. His YPC is a lot lower, and Cunningham seems just to run with more juice.
