Yeah, he hasn't been injured -- he's never touched the ball more than 20 times in a game. Rarely more than 15. Now his team wants to lean on him more... I'd bet on an Ellington injury more than any other RB.

I have Forte, Mathews and now possibly Pierre Thomas off waivers to lean on for RBs in my PPR league. The 3 RBs + Ellington is PPR gold. Sometimes you gotta go big or go home. And if he proves to be the next JC then you will all think back on this moment and say how much of a genius I was!!! edit: and just so you guys know, Ball, Bernard, Lynch, Murray were all off the board by the time it came to my pick in Rnd 2. Spiller, Foster, Bell, Bush, Morris and Ellington were the only decent options left. I am convinced 100% that Ellington is the very best RB out of that class.

I also have Julio and I'm pretty scared of him breaking. I picked up Harry Douglas as an emergency replacement if it happens.

Yes I am way down on him. edit: Secondly, there is no even respectable QB on the Texans. So I can imagine Ds stacking the box a little more heavily. The season hasnt even started so who knows, I could be completely wrong. But a RB who even mentions retirement and is on a crappy passing offense screams a drop in value. I am a rookie at this, but I love analyzing information.

Foster... no. Spiller? Hell no. Im not going to judge what could happen to Ellington before something has. He has the highest ceiling out of the tier 2 running backs and one of the very few not part of a RBBC in addition he can play a huge part of the passing game. I got Ellington in the 7th round of my draft. You have to be able to feel out your draft and see what positions and players people are valuing before jumping on a player you have ranked super high. I had Bernard, Morris, Mathews and Ellington ranked pretty equally across all four of them. I took Mathews in the 5th expecting Ellington to be long gone, but no one else touched him. Being fluid when you draft is the most important thing at the end of the day.

AFC East: There won't be much drama here. The Pats are the best team. The only question is whether they are a one seed or two seed. The rest of the division is a general shit show, which is a common theme in the AFC. I can see the Dolphins possibly challenging for a wild card spot. AFC North: The Bengals should still be the best team in the North, though I can see the Ravens pushing them pretty hard presuming that Flacco plays better than he did last year. Hard to imagine him being worse. The Steelers are the walking dead who seem destined to go about 8-8, and the Browns will be the Browns once again. AFC South: What a horrible division. The Colts should win this by default, but that organization needs to be shamed for doing such a horrible job building a team around Luck. The Texans should get back on track, but their QB situation is highly suspect. The Titans are the poster boys for consistency in mediocrity, and the Jags just suck. Even if Bortles is good, he still has no one to play with. AFC West: The Broncos should take the division, but the Chargers will push them. The Chiefs are likely to be a trainwreck with all of their losses in the offseason, and I think people generally agree that they were a poser contender last year. As for the Raiders .... Who is ready to cheer for David Carr? AFC Wildcard: Chargers and Ravens. NFC East: All of these teams are horribly flawed. I like the Eagles to win it, but none of these teams are contenders. Let us take a moment to reflect on how hysterically bad the Cowboys defense is going to be this year. Fantasy football is going to revolve around playing players who are against the Cowboys every week. NFC North: This may be the most fun division in football this year. I think all of the teams are at least decent. The Packers should take the division. Beyond them, I'd like to think that the Lions will challenge for the division, but then I keep remembering that they hired Caldwell as their coach. I like the Vikings, and I'm not really high on the Bears. NFC South: New Orleans is clearly the class of this division. With their thin depth and mounting injuries, the Falcons seem destined for another disappointing year, which hopefully will result in Mike Smith and Dimitroff being shown the door. The Panthers are due for a big regression as everyone is predicting given their hemorrhaging of talent over the offseason. The Bucs are an interesting team. They had an absolutely atrocious start to last season, featuring the antics of Schiano, the epic implosion of Freeman, and an outbreak of MRSA. They have some talent and a competent head coach now. They should be much better. NFC West: Fuck, we might as well give the Seahawks the division now with the steady parade of Niners to the Santa Clara County Jail. Seattle would have to do some serious pooch screwing to mess this up. Arizona won't be as good, and neither will the Rams. Still, both will be miserable to play against. NFC Wildcards: Niners and .... I have no idea. I can see half a dozen teams competing for this last spot if things break their way. Let's go wild and pick the Bucs!

Question though, for week 1 Start Reggie Bush or Rashad Jennings? (standard scoring cats. NOT PPR).

Got Gronk pretty late too, so if he doesn't get injured much, my team is the most stacked on paper. Question though, for week 1 Start Reggie Bush or Rashad Jennings? (standard scoring cats. NOT PPR). Hmm, stuck playing each other. I think I'd go Jennings because I think he is given the ball more, but that's all I'm going on. Traded for Megatron in my 14 team league. Gave up Ertz and Brown to an owner who loves Brown and wasn't at the draft and had a friend do an awful job drafting for him, leaving him basically naked at TE.
