I don't get how the bears are so bad. their defense is a combination of over the hill and general lackluster players, so that I understand. but that offense should absolutely not be that bad. and theyre no longer coached by lovie smith, who was the king of mediocre results. | ||

I don't think tis him Yeah, this is a case of stats being misleading. Cutler also has 4 lost fumbles, and committed 9 total fumbles. His ball protection has been terrible. His O-Line has also been pretty bad. While I agree that he obviously isn't the fault of every single problem that the Bears have, he is the start of it. When your QB struggles like he has struggled then the entire offense is going to struggle, and then because the offense is doing so poorly all the pressure falls unto the defense and, often times, that defense won't be consistent enough to always win you games. A little O-Line help and a new QB and the Bears would be back to the playoffs with a high scoring offense very quickly. | ||
