I dunno. Cutler isn't perfect, but he's a qb most teams would be very happy with. He just happens to have an extremely punchable face, and doesn't show any emotion no matter what situation. That's the main reason that he's getting lit up by fans and the media even though his defense let up over 100 pts in the past two games. The defense can't stop anybody in any situation. They could slap Peyton behind center and that team would still struggle for 10-6 because all the games would end 41-49.

During ACL reconstruction, they either take some ligament from another part of the body or they stretch another ligament around the area and use it as the new ACL. I don't remember the details much, but the reconstructed ligament is supposed to be stronger than the regular ACL. Of course, it's still vulnerable but it's supposed to be less vulnerable than a regular one.

M.D. here, but not surgeon, so this is based on my med school knowledge: Depending on what method they use, the graft will indeed initially be stronger, however it will regress somewhat during the initial healing period. I read a study back in med school which showed people undergoing reconstructive surgery were more likely to tear their other ACL than the reconstructed one - suggesting either they take more care of the reconstructed, a better strength or a combination of both.

I don't think tis him Compare his stats last night in the first half, to the second half. Garbage-time stats don't win games. Cutler can look great, as long as it doesn't count for anything. Look, everyone knows Bear's defense sucks. It isn't really disappointing to see them suck so much. This offense, on the other hand, has two exceptional WRs, and the best pass-catching RB in the league. To see them do absolutely nothing against extremely mediocre defenses -- that's what's disappointing. I've been hearing for years about what a good QB Cutler is -- BULLSHIT. I'd rather believe my own eyes -- he's an idiot who has a hard time throwing to the open man and not into coverage. With the weapons on this offense, most any NFL QB could do Cutler's job, and probably do it better. Plus, we didn't give anyone in our defense a $126 million dollar contract. Bears fans are griping about the defense, but what's really been the disappointment is this Cutler-led offense. The Bears defense isn't news, what apparently is news to people (even though some of us have been saying it for years) is that our $126 million QB is maybe half as good as his advocates and garbage-time stats make him out to be. I do think Tressman deserves some blame for poor play-calling. But I'm seeing too many plays that could work, if the QB would simply make better decisions.

They had an extra week to prepare for Green Bay and the defense still allowed another 50 points dropped on them! I'm so surprised that Tressman didn't get fired last night after another televised rape I witnessed. Mel Tucker needs to go as well. They should of told him after the 2nd half to not even bother, you're done and just go home. I expect the whole coaching staff to be gone by the end of the season. I kind of hope the Bears get another 50 dropped on them against the Lions so it can be sooner to be honest. Edit

I would be 9-1 right now but instead lost 3 times by 5 points or less and about to drop out of a playoffs spot. McCoy only 1 TD all season...... he is 21st in RB fantasy scoring, not entirely useless but you'd expect more from a fully healthy #1. I am pulling my hair out!!!
