I don't know if the Broncos just don't have a decent running game or New England has actually done a decent job of shutting it down. Even when it was close they weren't getting anything from it.

I think Belichick gets these weird points where he thinks anything he want to do will work because things have been going well (see: playing Julian Edelman on defense instead of getting a street FA DB).

BB is the most contrary man in the nfl, and maybe pro sports. He wears those ugly cut off sweaters because they won't let him wear a suit, and the nfl can make him address the press, but they can't make him answer the questions with more than 3 words. They can make him follow a injury report system he thinks is stupid, but they can't prevent him from putting Brady on it every week for 6 years. And I love him for it.

He's basically Popovich except people think Popovich is funny while simultaneously thinking Belichick is an asshole.

If you call shitty defense, zero running game and having to pass in constant traffic exposed then I guess he was exposed.

There are plenty of times when it is clear he is joking because he has a huge grin on his face like when he had Shaq intentionally fouled right after tip-off. With Belichick, you can never be sure because he rarely smiles. I just find that challenge weird because Belichick is normally very good at using his timeouts and challenges. There was really no point to that one. I would even say it was counterproductive as 1st and goal at 1 is an almost guaranteed score and they were on clock killing mode then.

There doesn't really feel like a stand out team in the league this year. Arizona looks good in what might be a weak division, the Cowboys and Seahawks are falling fast and the Pats and Broncos have been vulnerable. Gonna be an interesting 2nd half

And if they are asked to give their guess as to what a call will be they are usually wrong... Yes thank you that is so damn annoying. Especially since they feel compelled to call them in to explain dumb shit. Most of the time it goes like this: Commentator: Reviewing to see if it's a fumble, let's call Mike Carey. Carey: Well you see, a fumble is when the player drops the ball before his knee is down. This is what happened here. There is no way that isn't a fumble. Ref: Runner was down by contact. I think it's something like 2/3 of the time they get the call wrong. It's ridiculous, it's annoying, and it's pretty insulting to the commentators. They know what a damn fumble /incomplete pass /TD is.
