Seattle and Arizona next games for them. It's only going to get worse... 1-5 start is all but certain.

Nobody has seen higher highs and lower lows in recent years than RG3. I’ve mentioned this on podcasts, but just for reference, here is the list of players the Rams ultimately got for Robert Griffin: CB Janoris Jenkins, DT Michael Brockers, RB Isaiah Pead, G Rokevious Watkins, LB Alec Ogletree, WR Stedman Bailey, RB Zac Stacy, and T Greg Robinson, the second overall pick in the 2014 draft. I won’t suggest that the Rams optimized their selections and chose the best possible player at each of those slots, but they appear to have come away with four average-or-better starters (Jenkins, Brockers, Ogletree, and Stacy) and Robinson, who is a massive prospect at left tackle.

This is what happens when you get cute and bench your studs for players that have a "favorable matchup". I did the same thing in my ESPN league. And I almost said no to that trade. I feel dirty now for taking that trade. How can I look this guy in the eye after a trade like that?

You benched a QB who proved himself last year for a QB who had 2 games under his belt vs the Jags and the Eagles Defenses both who are much worse at pass rushing than New York. The match up wasn't favorable, you merely made a bad call in personnel. Look at the games from the season before too? 8TDs vs 10 INTs. And why would you start Cousins anyways? There's an obvious reason the constantly injured RG3 keeps winning the starting position back. Nice try though.

It's not like he simply made the wrong decisions. It's that everyone knew what decisions he was going to make.

It's that everyone knew what decisions he was going to make. This isn't directed at you, but you mentioned it so I thought I'd bring it up. Am I the only one who hears "lacks talent" when some talking head spouts "he gets the system better"?

How can I look this guy in the eye after a trade like that? last year I got Josh Gordon for Dwayne Bowe straight up, since my friend was convinced Gordon's one game was a flash in the pan and Bowe would turn it on later in the season. I got dinner with the guy a few days ago. Forgive and forget.

Am I the only one who hears "lacks talent" when some talking head spouts "he gets the system better"? I hear, "Shit RG3 isn't as good as almost everyone in the media predicted. Double shit, we gave him a Rookie of the Year award prematurely! Quick, think of excuses." Also I hear a little bit of, "RG3 is dumb/stupid/stubborn, but if I say any of those things I might get called racist. Whats a good way to explain this away...?" Personally, I think that they both are mediocre, and the team is crippled because of shitty drafting, the RG3 trade, and bleh free agency acquisitions. Being mediocre as a QB in the NFL is no longer ~200 yards, 1 TD and 1 Int per game, instead it is wild fluctuations between 400 yards/4TDs and 100 yards/4INTs (Good/Elite QBs now have those same good days, but 250/2/1 as the bad day). Sample sizes are fairly small with these two QBs, particularly with the new "system" so the fluctuations we have seen are to be expected.
