It's going to very a lot based on build/genetics, I was already hitting those numbers just off the random lifting I was making up, then switched to a version of SS and made some more gains then moved on.
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

Hey guys, exam time for me so its time to start posting again.

Just started oly lifting with some of my friends that are playing rugby. They found out that oly lifting would be a fun thing to do so they signed up with an instructor and I got to join in.

I had what I would describe as the best workout I've ever had in my life this evening. It was amazing. I don't think I set any max weight records, but PRs in almost every chest exercise today in terms of set/rep count while going till failure on most sets at around max weight.

It felt like mid set when I was starting to get tired I just went super saiyan and and pushed out multiple more reps than normal, especially on decline bench, where I just felt this strangle tingle throughout all my body and made an angry face which has never happened.

Biggest chest pump I've ever had at the moment. Feels fucking glorious. I've never been so excited to feel so sore tomorrow.
If you watch Godzilla backwards it's about a benevolent lizard who helps rebuild a city and then moonwalks into the ocean.

tried some squat/dl/pc today and SUPER fucking good mobility progress with regards to my back mobility (i think)
will maybe get a vid soon but it will have to be with my shirt on...(sorry about that guys)

That's the feeling of testosterone running through your veins. The best part about lifting is finding that inner rage letting the strength flow through your body out of nowhere pushing yourself past your limits.

Warning: Highly addicting.

I've wondered where ur PR's come from. Do you use a program that tells you its a pr whenever its a new amount of sets/reps for that weight? You are strong enough to have had the possibility of beating these numbers that are sometimes PRs long long ago I'd assume? Just curious

Yeah, weight set rep PR. For example, with 65kg I had done 5x6 last time, so 6x5 is a PR. A month ago I was doing triples with this weight, and remember a session 2 weeks ago where I could only do 3 sets of 5 (5x3).

I try to constantly do PR's this way (in the press/klokov press this seems to be happening) by toying around with the rep set combo. I don't press same weight 2 sessions a row, but for example in the following or after following I will try something like 65kgx6x7. Usually add weight when I hit 5-8 sets for 5+ reps and 8-10 sets for doubles and triples.
