Then again, FIFA's Rulebook (and the whole organization) is fucking dumb. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it's a very low scoring game where each goal matters a lot. penalties have very high point expectancy. so why the fuck doesn't the biggest tournament in your sport use video replays to monitor game swinging calls?

Because video replays/challenges only work in sports were the clock can be stopped. Putting like three guys in a video room who can communicate to the referee a unanimous decision when the ref fucks something up on the pitch should be enough. And give refs the ability to take back penalties and red cards ect. No need to stop play and have the ref go look at replays

My opinion would be it's largely historic the technology hasn't existed in the past and the sport has grown up without it. Now that its possible for the fans to see every decision in slow motion over and over again it becomes more obvious when a decision is wrong. Trying to make a decision first time without a replay is very hard I frequently get it wrong and then see the replay and realize the decision should be the other way. It must be so hard for the referees. Now that we have the technology to have replays I wouldn't be so quick to jump to and assume it would improve the sport to bring them in. The EPL goal review system is amazing. There was one game where the ball was right on the line and then cleared and all the players looked at the referee he looked at his watch and shook his head and the play continued straight away with no stop in play no wait whilst people look at the replays. That is a great system. What we don't want is Football to become like American sports with continuous breaks in play. Trying to watch American sports if you've been raised on European sports is really tough. I just can't take the continuous breaks and stops and barrage of adverts. Football must never become like that. That would be far worse than having a few wrong decisions which lets be fair are great talking points anyway. As long as there isn't some big conspiracy of decisions against one team I think most people are happy to see some bad decisions every now and then it is after all just a sport. The argument that the decisions even them self out over a domestic season has often been discussed and its probably largely true. But at the World Cup there are so few games for each team and so much national pride at stake that the decisions get amplified to a ridiculous degree. There has been discussion of a review system like cricket and tennis where you can question 1-2 decisions in a match. That might be workable go to the replays just a couple of times in the game might not disrupt the flow to much, I don't know about that though.

So the FIFA wants to ask him questions and HE has to bring a translator? That is total bullshit and that is not how it is done anywhere in the world. If u want something from him u have to bring the translator and not vice versa. Not defending him cause I don't know if he has something to do with that Katar WC. As long as there is no real evidence he is not guilty and FIFA is just as wrong as they always are.

FIFA just does what it wants On June 15 2014 23:26 TheBloodyDwarf wrote: ![]() ![]() same goes for players ^^ . you can weigh 150 kg and still be first pick in draft.

We have tons of prospects, but no world class excluding Ozil joined Arsenal in a long, long time. However, with this roster we can magic.
