couldn't do much else but rehab and hope I didn't injure myself bad enough to affect deadlifts tomorrow since it's my underhand and switching feels weird to me...
Just take it easy. Perhaps do some double overhand pulling if you really have to deadlift. Other than that I'd reccomend rehab and very light curling after a few days.
I'm feeling weak as shit coming back from Africa. I've got random blisters on my feet that hurt like a bitch, and random infections all over my body including my eye. I guess this is what happens when you body finally relaxes after a long trip in poorer conditions.
Went lifting anyway, because I felt that I really needed some exercise:
Back squat: 85kgx5x5 Press: 60kgx5x3 DL: 120kgx5 Bench: 80x5x3
Will probably take me a couple of weeks to recover from my random sicknesses and get back to where I was a month ago...
skipped friday coz it snowed for first time in a year (or whatever) and i decided everything would be closed without bothering to check. by sunday i felt a bit silly about it so tried to rush and get something in before work. the gym was frozen solid, i had to wear gloves just to touch the barbells (i have fucked up hands to begin with). the guy had nothing to do so we chatted a bit, he told me the best way to warm up for bench press is to do a handstand, so with guidance i done my first handstand (against a wall). was pretty cool.
sunday
bench 80kg 6-6-6 (with some help - either because it was cold, or i havent been eating enough, or whatever, but its crazy to still be on 6-6-6 and failing that)
dead 115kg 1x5 . guy said to try with my shoes on (higher heels) to help fix my poor mobility, at warmup it was okay but in set i felt uncomfortable, like i was lifting with my back instead of leg drive, so i might go back on his advice in future)
pullup 15 reps. had ran out of time (shuts at 12.30) and had to bus to work.
thinking of going back tomorrow and doing squat OHP clean... its either that or stretching/bodyweight squats at home and back on tuesday..
Deadlifts: 455-6 hanging leg raises: 12-12-12 dumbbell sdl: 100x3x25
everything felt good through warm ups decided to go for it. No pain maybe it's not as bad as I thought but I wont know for sure until push press. overall happy
Switched the order around, to seperate the two pulling exercises more. I want to start with squatting though. Weights all felt ok, it was a pretty standard session.

Haha dude, I was in Africa over x-mas/new years. Got so fucking sick that I had to fly home earlier (high fever, pounding headache, diarreah etc). Had gotten sunburnt the day before I flew home... and on the flight it all turned into blisters. All over my shoulders/back and thighs. Walked through the airport with shorts rolled up so they wouldn't touch my blisters and it looked so SUPER gay, got stared at massively :D I also woke up on the plane home with a weird pain in my foot. Rolled down my sock to reveal a gigantically swollen foot covered in a purple blotch. Guess something bit me as a goodbye present - couldn't walk for two days when I got home. Africa sure did a number on me as well :p

I'd like to see Africa but there's a reason why i really wouldnt travel there, all the diseases and stuff going on + the body not being used to the food and the climate :s
