FUCKING PUMPED UP NOW. Ro32 playoff game for d1 mens rugby tomorrow yeaaaah buddy
I'm not much for inspirational videos. But this one is just glorious. Set a new Push-Up record while listening to it, rofl.
Here is the youtube link:
I almost died during my Muay Thai training. Wanted to give up about twenty times during the two hours, but I decided to stick with it, and not take the path with least resistance.

Agreed. Pressing is nice to do in the squat rack but it can be done elsewhere as well. Deadlifting can really be done anywhere. On another note. My max for pull ups was 10 today, hurray. I've been ''greasing the groove'' and it is working wonders. A week ago I could only do 3*5. Now I did 1*10/1*8/1*6.
You can always, man the fuck up, clean (powerclean too) the weight, and press from there.

For what is each day but a series of conflicts between the easy way and the right way. SO FUCKING MOTIVATED. two-a-days+rugby training all summer
Listened to that this morning and now August Burns Red playlist and I want to lift some heavy crap. Going to do some crazy workout while wishing I was squatting.

I can't stand motivational videos. If you need a Nike commercial to get your ass to the gym you're in trouble :p
You're in trouble thinking you may not go to the gym... so you listen to said motivational videos... and then go to gym. How is this not a good thing lol. People are motivated different ways, I'm not sure why how you get motivated is any superior to others

It was half in jest, commercialism up the asshole to sell more sneakers and redbull etc, but videos like that do makes me cringe. There's nothing glamorous or adventurous about it, It's just exercise, a small effort done regularly so your heart won't go "you know what? Fuck this guy" at 40, and they make it sound like space exploration.
Don't get me wrong, I broke my squat record yesterday and felt like I could punch out a whale, it's just that there's nothing glamorous about it. Exercise just feels good.

Haha I don't think you quite got the jist. Usain bolt isn't exactly just trying to keep his heart rate up so he can live a bit longer.
Yeah, they probably weren't targeting you then Being the best in competition is going to be a driving force for a lot of people, most find it both glamorous and adventurous.
The guy runs slightly faster than other people who also like to run, through some random genetic circumstance. That's all that is :p Yeah he probably works really hard for it, but so do the other runners.
I'm rambling, but what's the point, really, in being the best at anything?
Okay while we a at it still, I just like to point out that my favorite line from the video with regards to the lions is actually false. Lions are territorial, and you would never find a 'field of lions' competing for an 'elusive prey' because in a pride of lions, the male(s) would always feed first even though the females usually do the hunting.
So now we've completely ruined the fun from that video, let's find another one?

My answer? It's something to work for and its an out of this world experience when you feel physically unstoppable in the heat of competition. It's like heroin but way more effort and none of the bad side effects.

You make a good point haha.
I think the music has more to do with it than anything. Play a sweet build-up track, throw on some keywords, boom you're pumped.
