Nothing like getting middle management paychecks. Too bad you're slowly slicing away your soul all while toiling for the big guy to drool over how to spend it. Being an entrepreneur is a great way to make business money while doing what you love, you just have to be okay working long hours. Plus the more successful you are the money money in your pocket, not someone else's.

Good news, it's in the menu at start up. Get bored of the war? Go swap to CQC for abit, then drop back in. No flying around required. Wait, civil war? Combat bonds?! Nice.

You mean the cheese that literally smells like ass? No thanks.
Disappointed I can't troll with American or Cheese Wiz.
I can only assume you've never tried actual roquefort, because it doesn't really smell of anything, especially compared to most cheeses o.0

That said I like gouda a gouda deal.
I figured it meant in terms of where the cheese is the main dish. IE, when you have a cheese platter, which cheese do you choose. Otherwise like half the list has situations where they're amazing :p

If I have a cheese on a cheese platter,
I get Port Salut or maybe an old cheddar or Old Amsterdam.
I am 100% lactose intolerant...but I still love cheese. Needing to drink lactose-free milk QQ.
You can't just pick the "best" cheese. Different cheeses are best in different culinary situations. You want a light snacking cheese? Brie. Want something to melt on a sandwich? Muenster or Swiss. A pungent cracker cheese? Blue variants.
Then there are cheeses like Guyere and Parmesan are essential to specific dishes (French Onion or Mac and Cheese without Guyere is just sad). Etc.
Also, long-delayed addendum to the GMO discussion.
I for the most part agree with THS, though it's essential to break it down into several key areas.
1) The health risks of GMO foods. In short, there has yet been any demonstrated medical risks from the consumption of GMOs and, in several cases (e.g. Golden Rice) notable health benefits to address current nutritional deficiencies in the developing world.
Opposition to GMOs on these grounds are largely inane as, while there is, I suppose, a minscule risk that there are negative health risks in the future involving GMOs, nothing notable given the weight of regulatory agencies in the US (the EPA and FDA both regulate different aspects of GMOs), though USDA cutbacks are concerning.
2) The agricultural and environmental impact of GMOs.
This is where things get somewhat tricky. GMOs engineered to produce natural pesticides are in theory better for the environment, as they discourage and reduce the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers, which can have lasting impact on the environment in runoffs.
In reality, it's abit more complicated than that. Whereas studies have shown insecticide use has declined, chemical herbicide use in the US has been on the rise, due to the issue of herbicide resistant weeds (developing as a response to an over-use of chemical herbicides, which is made possible by GE herbicide-resistant crops). There are other concerns, the effects on biodiversity, and long-term sustainability, that go hand in hand with such overuse. All of this, of course, ties back to the final point I would like to make.
3) The environmental and productive problems of "traditional" commercialized western agricultural practices, from pesticides to monoculture.
Now, don't get me wrong, the current system of commercialized agriculture is necessary to produce the sheer volume of produce necessary to feed an increasingly large population. Nonetheless, the commercial practice of monoculture, in conjunction with heavy use of chemical or GE pesticides, are what facilitate these types of pest developments.
I don't want to touch upon this too much, but I would point towards Integrated Pest Management systems, most notably in their use in Southeast Asia, as a "better" path forward. In this view, I would say that GMO use is not by itself bad, but is currently poorly utilized in the context of western commercialized agricultural practice.
None of you bitches like halloumi???? Shit is delicious grilled/fried. It's like crack. Also fan of some nice cheddar/emmental (the shit)/like my camembert if it's all melty and cooked with something.
God that reminds me I cooked up some DELICIOUS halloumi burgers. Courgettes and carrots grated, a shit tonne of halloumi, drain all the water off the veg and combine. Fry up and serve with a chilli/olive oil/white wine vinegar dip/vinaigrette and ohhhh my godddd women's panties will be falling off for your culinary skills.
Can't beat some feta in a salad.
Some mozzarella on a pizza.
Gruyere is the shit too and damn expensive but an integral part of quiche making skills.
grilling haloumi is something i only do under significant duress
fuckers stick to the grill and are a bitch to get off afterwards, and they have a texture that makes you think twice about your life choices dont really taste like much of anything so thats a neutral point
mozzarella can also be great in a salad, in general it pairs very well with anything tomato so thats good.
i've recently discovered the camembert + tuna combination, wasnt much of a camemberter before, but now it's k
but if we're talking best individual cheese, not in combination with anything, gotta give it to the tilsiter. srs.

I think most opposition from this angle isn't so much the "it's unhealthy" angle, and more at the general lack of regulation involved. There really isn't that much oversight, especially in some countries, and a lot of the potential effects haven't really been studied at length, (and almost all the research into these side effects is sponsored by the GMO producers, yay.)
Obviously the vast majority of modified foodstuffs are a huge benefit, it's just people going "all gmo's are NON NATURAL AND TOXIC" that drown out any legitimate concerns or calls for stronger regulation/research.
Also yes, parmesan is a magical mysterious god of a cheese that goes with literally every dish imaginable.
Hmm, I would like to shoutout Dubliner cheese. It's great; flavor profile is something like Cheddar/Parmigiano Reggiano/Guyere.
Trying to figure out what else I can do with it besides being one of the best cracker cheeses ever; probably a potato gratin or a soup or melted cheese sandwich.
Some idiot decided to take a gun to the college a friend of mine goes to. The dunce then took it out and started waving it around when he got into an argument with one of his friends and the entire campus was put on lockdown and SWAT was called in.
Like seriously, how stupid can you be?
What school? Drexel canceled classes cuz of threats, and a lot of kids at Temple not bothering to show up because of it.
I don't know what haloumi is. I'm also putting the final touches to this part of the project, here at 8 PM alone in the office, so I can get somewhat back on schedule.
I've been doing too much stuff recently. Between the work, Worlds, thinking about a dance class (so I need to buy sport shoes, and maybe clothes too, gotta see if my old ones still fit first), a couple drafts, and a couple other evenings going out I suddenly feel like I'm only home when I'm tired and coming back late from work. Would that be what having hobbies and acquaintances is like? In a way I feel like I don't actually have time for anything anymore, not even grab a book or play some league. Hopefully it'll die down within the next few weeks, I took tomorrow afternoon off for a doc check-up so I can sign up to classes, I'm not even sure if I'll do it before next week (or the following x_x) but at least that'll give me some rest while I'm at it. On the plus side, I'm not going to feel tempted to install xmage or buy a fat pack because I definitely won't have time for any of that so it'll save me money/setup time.
Oh hey that goddamn attachment came with the mail, now I can go home. Weeee~
My general go-to cheese is Gouda and I've never really bought anything else in a long time. Except for Sirene on salads (or well, the czech ghetto version of Sirene, pretty much the same thing I think?)
