Cuz when something is advertised as RM10 you shouldn't have to pay RM10.60 On January 23 2018 09:37 zer0das wrote: So apparently Darkest Dungeon has had a new DLC, the Shieldbreaker for a few months... just heard of it. >_> It's just an extra character and a few monster types. The main issue with VAT is that it's non-scaling so it hurts the lower income population far more than anyone else. However it's also far harder to avoid as a tax compared to income tax which top income population avoids like a plague. Ideally if countries got to the point where they actually got the tax they wanted out of top income population they may not even need VAT or low income tax.

But if your vat in vs vat out stuff is a bit fishy here SARS basically sits on your ass 24/7 for months. My folks sold their business about 2 years ago. Since they went from having VAT tables every month to nothing SARS basically said "this was suspicious" and audited them every single month for about 7 months. At the end of the day avoidance is really up to how well run/funded your tax collection agency is. I say it's harder to avoid since the paper trails are a bit more clear cut. All tax is easy to avoid if you rich anyway I guess, especially if you capture the agency in charge of collection.

Trying to claim expenses that are not VAT deductible or inflate numbers to try claim more VAT becomes tricky since what you are claiming should correspond to someone else's books. So yes you can just claim back VAT(if you're a vendor) but at last personally it's a thing they scrutinize considerably.

They sign a 2 year deal with facebook, and the entire dota community immediately decides to boycott all facebook streamed events. Unlucky
