If you don't want to get raped by simple aggro (doesn't even have to be hardcore aggro since the hunter skill is lolcakes) you probably have to expl shot at turn 5, which fucks your future card draw anyways. If you don't do that you're probably dead by the time you can draw cards. PLUS, it makes it so that hunter will never ever in a million years be able to win against any mage deck ever, which are only going to become more prelevant thanks to their indirect buff. Eh, Hunters have plenty of tools that aren't creatures for the mage match up. For their giants they have Deadly Shot and Hunters Mark. While hunters mark isn't optimal it still set their life to one meaning the now "dead" explosive trap in your hand isn't dead anymore. They have their bows, both the one that gets durability (eaglesong?), and the Glad Bow which means they can attack for 14 over 2 turns. Add in Flare and you have a serious turn where you can put quite a bit of hurt on the mage. | ||
