Also, I cannot begin to comprehend just how bad the Final Fantasy Tactics A and A2 stories are. It's like the Neverending story Narnia wardrobe with a pinch of terrible and wtf on top. The main problem is that you don't care about anything that happens in the story whatsoever because from the very beginning you are told that there is absolutely no danger no matter what.

Please don't touch. Make it cost more mana then. It's not just the best removal spell, it's the best removal spell mixed with a (potentially massive) summon. It's the only (that I can think of) removal card that not only puts your opponent at a deficit, but also puts you at even more of an advantage on top of it. And at a 5 drop, as long as you MC any good 5 or above summon (not too hard) or even a high power lower one (like Sen'Jin or the like), you make the mana cost back in spades. It's dumb and needs some sort of drawback.

You more or less do the exact same thing about random encounters and then you have a specific strategy for a boss, but such strategy is either very simple or reliant on hindsight (oh, who woulda thought this boss can confuse all of my party at once? How cute! Better change my party to adapt to that once I die...) Like I played the Fire Emblem 11 on highest difficulty and it was a fucking blast because every tactical error and every bad strategy got punished hard on each map, but you had all the info you needed right at the start and you had to genuinely outsmart the map. Then by chapter 8 it got a lot easier, supposedly it gets harder by the end but meh got bored then.

I think the major issue with "mind control" isn't the card itself but that there are so many other ways for the deck to kill things with, SWP, SWD, Holy Nova, Holy Fire, Smite, and Shadow Madness that if you're playing 2 of each of those things your opponent can't actually participate in a game of hearthstone if drawn correctly.

The card always has some massive change of board state that in decks that can play them it becomes more of a must have rather than a not at all. Kinda like how AD's always build BF items. That's actually quite fair. I would be much more ok with MC if it wasn't one of a myriad of control/clear cards they have. I feel like the Priest's class cards are a bit too strong across the board, there are very few that I'd not consider including if given the chance. MC is the most frustrating by far, but it would be fine if their spells and buffs didn't patch the power potential. Cixah is wise <3

I'll agree that there are no interactions because there are no interactions. That's a game design point. There are not interrupts outside of secrets. The game simply lacks card pool right now. Most major "blocks" for magic have 2 or 3 250+ card sets + 2-4 110~ card sets to build from. Heartstone has roughly 190 different cards at the current moment? I'm not sure on the exact number, but it's not exactly what I would call a lot.
