Blink Dagger = Flash that disjoints, but cant be used for 4 seconds if you take enemy/neutral damage.
Force Staff = Flash that doesn't disjoint but doesn't have the 4 second clause.
Black King Bar = Magic Immunity on a progressively short CD/Duration as you use it more. Imagine Morg Shield except you can't TAKE magic damage let along be targeted by it.
Necronomicon = What Promote should have been, 2 dudes that get progressivly stronger as you can upgrade the item. As the item is upgraded the dudes gain abilities, even the ability that punishes you for killing them.
TP Scrolls = How Teleport should have been. For the whole team, but purchasable.
Dagon = Ignite, but frontloaded and not DoT. Upgradeable and useful for bursty assassins, but ultimately not a lot of other heroes due to cost.
Rod of Atos = Exhast, except the range is absurd, on a 20 second cd, however doesn't reduce damage. The item also makes you tanky.
Pipe of Insight = Barrier but for the whole team. Only from magic damage though.
Mekanism = Heal, but for the whole team. Also increases your team/minions armor by 4 for 30 seconds (~25% damage reduction at all levels).
Revive is a mechanic in the game (buybacks), that cost gold.
Personally i wish league did all of that instead of summoners. Would be way more fun. Other than that i prefer the league last hitting/positioning/map layout/objectives.

I prefer the wave management of dota, having creep blocking/camp stacking be a thing is awesome imo
I also like the farming incentives, if your team goes full on retard and you're a late game hero you can just head down powerfarm your way to victory. Also, nyx.

Went from 0-2 to 9-3 in my arena run. I vs'd 2 shaman with al'akir in a row and at least 2 fire eles, a mage with 4 fireballs and about 50 secrets, everytime it being a different one, and 1 being spellbender when i used blessing of kings 
Final game was vs a druid with 4 swipes, 2 ironbarks, and an ancient of war. Shame, it was a fun as hell deck. I was able to beat a warlock on turn 6 lol.

With it being "5 Wings" just like Naxx was, I'd imagine 200 per as a 1 time buy like it is.
