Still, out of every top laner, my last hitting is worst on him and its not even close. 2. My Rumble flashes are hideous. I knew it was bad before watching the cast, but it looks like 10 times worse in a replay. I find it really awkward to direct flame spitter and harpoons, and then flash exactly where you want to in short order. 3. In spite of the above weaknesses, my ults (if I don't completely whiff them) tend to be quite good. Still some room to improve though. 4. It's a lot easier to play Rumble in a 5's situation because your team actually does something after you ult. 5. I still have a season 3 Rumble curse- 0-7 with him. Our AOE was pretty disgusting though, so I don't feel too terrible about point #5 in light of the disconnect. I was kind of surprised we were behind in gold until we took baron and started knocking down towers.
Last hitting on Rumble is srs bsns. His animation is clunky, level 1 E is not much help, and Q is more a hindrance than a help.

I think when Q is at lv1-2, it's easier to last hit with it on. If you can control your Q on the minions, you can last hit ranged minions - 1turretshot worth of health or melee minions -2turretshot worth of health health with your auto +3 ticks Q or +2ticks overheated.
You can also get away with spamming overheat+Q or overheat+E to last hit post lv4 because most people will run away thinking you want to trade with them. If they want to trade, then trade (you'll win 90% of the time);otherwise, just go last hit. Don't do this before lv4 unless its like vs nasus or something, and don't do this too often or else your opponent will figure out what you're doing and try to harass you after your Q dies out.
I suck at last hitting with rumble too, but these tricks have helped me get about +10~20 more cs than when I first picked up rumble.

Bleh, my lategame decision-making as support is where the silver league starts to shine through : \ Seems like something that only comes with experience though (especially the calls over TS), and TLIH less painful than soloqueuers telling me I somehow threw. Also Milo Zilean real terror.

Roffles and I made up after yelling at each other and then played on the same team a few days later and he complimented my Malphite play, true story.
I echo the sentiments of others however that he has ruined the word please for me. I hope we're making a distinction between "please" and "plz" now, they seem to be two entirely different words.

First Game - Lulu Support:
I was paired with a Corki against Ashe/Zyra. The Zyra was mega-aggressive and made my life a living hell for the first few levels, but as the lane went on, Corki was able to be a baller. I actually made a few clutch plays during the laning phase, but I totally whiffed the team fighting phase. Lulu has so many options that I got confused and indecisive and made the wrong calls on my skills, ult, and Exhaust. Also 2Sang's Fiora was scary as crap!
Second Game - Leona Support:
I shouldn't have picked Leona. She works fine in Bronze, but against competent opponents, I was totally intimidated by the Cait/Lulu lane that Graves and I faced. We got our faces kicked in for the first 3 levels and that set the pace of the lane because I was too terribad to make good initiates. I didn't communicate enough to let my team capitalize on the plays I did make. I'm not decisive enough to play Leona - she takes a different mindset, I guess.
Overall, I think I just need to be more decisive in lane and during team fighting. I think I did an alright job of vision management, though my team had to prompt me to ward some places. Again, that's probably from indecisiveness.

Leona totally works, but as you point out she's totally an aggressive mindset support. You zone them by threatening to hit your skillshots, and if they're 2sang you just hit every zenith blade on him and feel great about yourself ( <3 you 2sang). If you're a scaredy cat or someone who's not used to making calls for all-ins you can't play her effectively - she's not a champion of half measures. The most important thing on her that I'd stress to every single support player looking to pick up the role, and specifically to those who want to play Leona is ABUSE LEVEL TIMINGS. Make sure you hit 2 before they do, make sure you hit your level 2 zenith blade + stun combo and you pretty much win lane if you keep it up with solid play/zoning skills. Obviously it matters who they have on support, if it's a Sona or Zyra who can poke you down, but the lane is totally in your control to either snowball or play passive and give back to them.

I find that the most most important thing with Leona is bush control. I like to have an extra pink ward on Leona just to clear out the lane bushes.
The problem is, in order to control bushes, you have to push, and push hard from lvl1 onwards. That's somewhat problematic against Cait+Lulu, who outpush you lvl1 onwards, but you should still try. At least that's the conclusion we came to after testing Leona a few times.
