Played two inhouses for the first time in a week and it looks like things are really well run in my absence. I hope everyone is continuing to learn from these games. ^_^
One thing I do want to note, keep the "experimental" champion picks for normals please. For the most part, the TL users participating in these games want a standard game, if possible. It's a much better learning experience when there are fewer obscure variables.
Also, avoid lane swapping (1v2/2v1 Top/Bot) as well. At Gold-- tier, it's entirely uncommon for that to happen and there are many players who don't know what to do in that situation. 1/1/2 Top/Mid/Bot is preferable.
I'll be free tomorrow as well, hope to see more of you then. Let me know if there is anyone who wants my criticism about how they're doing in the IHs.

Regarding yesterday's (this morning's) game, I was the one playing Kennen in the lane swap.
So basically i went botlane against Ezreal/leona, starting bead/5 pots/ward. Thinking back, Dblade might have helped more, since i was so zoned out that i didn't even get to use my pots, and Dblade could've helped me in case of tower dive. Thoughts?
Also, I got completely zoned out. Like, Ez and leona froze the lane a little before river on their side, and i litteraly couldn't get close with leona sitting in the bottom bush. So scared. I guess I wasted a lot of time sitting around and sorta trying to get in xp range, but the creep wave was just too far in the lane. Wat should I do in that case? When top turret fell and we rotated, I was lvl 4 with about 15 cs, and top nid was lvl 6 with about 30. Rough times were had. I sorta stayed in the game even 60 cs behind because i got lucky enough to pick up the kill every time my lane was ganked, so i ended up in that awkward place of being 5-1-5 and starved/behind in gold/xp.
So nidalee just rolled over me with her BotRK (someone watched OGN, lol), and we lost the game because we needed 3-4 ppl to deal with her.
Was there a way it could have gone differently? (Considering if I had laned nid from the start, I probably would have fed her quite a bit and the game might've ended sooner, lol)

(Considering if I had laned nid from the start, I probably would have fed her quite a bit and the game might've ended sooner, lol) Were you in TeamSpeak? We had a postgame discussion about the match and the general consensus was that for your opening buy, you should have gotten Shield+pot and just stay in experience range. Try to last hit with Q if possible and definitely avoid any initiation by Leona.
You still managed to get a Zhonya's in reasonable amount a time (esp due to your tough lanes bot and top) so you did what was needed in terms of team fights. The biggest problem was map control for your team, the crux of it being Nidalee. Even though your team got the first turret, my team took every Dragon and actually convert even more turrets after we got kills. There was just a really poor response to Nidalee solo split pushing and while you guys got kills on DURR, it usually took more than half your team and nothing else happened for you guys once you killed Nid.
Team fights also could have gone a little better. Despite the Rengar pick, Humming did a solid job nullifying Swim, our ADC Ez. But our two (maybe three, if you counted me) sources of damage still carried us through in 5v5s.
Edit: to expand on the objective conversions: my team either solo'd or I jumped bot and got a kill on Graves, we'd get Dragon afterwards. Your team killed Nidalee then everyone based. My team roams as 4 while Nid Top, we get aced in a bad engage, we still got top inhib, you guys still based. I don't remember what your health was after the team fight, for example, but only 1, maybe 2, champions should have been sent back to deal with Nid. After such a major team fight win, you need to get more turrets and/or steal buffs. Edit2: I just realized that I didn't save screenshots from either of the two games from last night, fk. So yeah, please remember to screenshoot so we can look at item builds. Those usually tell a lot about the game.

I was on TS, but couldn't talk, just listen.
I didn't consider Dshield, but it makes a lot of sense indeed. Problem was with leona in the brush, i really couldn't get close enough to the wave to leech xp, considering how far away from my turret it was frozen. It was frozen at the second brush, so with leona in the first brush threatening to e me at any time, it was definitely too dangerous. I also wasted my ward in the river, while warding that brush instead could've helped, but i think leona had a pink so it was a crapshoot anyways...

Stay away from brush as much as possible but still stay within exp range. Once you have Lightning Rush, you technically should not get caught.
I agree ward is better used in the River. Leona is going to be in brush, just use your instincts.

Anakko, I was playing the Graves on your team during that game. Part of your lane swap trouble was caused by me taking several waves too long to shove the tower down, and then us not making sure to get the lane reset at their second tower before initiating the swap. Part of us not being able to reset it was jungle pressure and our mid was backed at the time. With no wards we couldn't shove that deep into their territory. So while you could have played after the swap more crisply we didn't set you up for success the way we should have.

Riven v Singed Play more offensively in lane. You need at least 1-2 Blade for the hp and other stats. Blade Bruta if you're ahead, otherwise Blades Hex from behind. Singed should build like InvertedComposer imoimo, I'm not fond of RoA on Singed.
Ahri v TF Ahri needs to recognize the distance to keep between her and TF. Getting Gold Card in lane more than once (without Jungler initiating) is a no-no.
J4 overall made a huge impact in all three lanes and snowballed the game quickly. Teams could have been balanced better (my fault) but hopefully it was still a learning experience.

Should have played way more defensively in lane.

These games were brutal lol. There were always at least one or two people that snowballed the shit out of games in the first 10 minutes.

any chance for a mass pm for people who are interested in playing? is there any interest in this?
