My adc today, Raphael, gave me good pointers on Janna in our Janna + Vayne vs Braum + Leona. Usually I wonder why I'm bad with Janna (3-15 in ranked with her), but now I realize a lot of mistakes. -Laning Phase - always be in range and ready to e vayne when lucian casts q = trade won - preferably q close rather than far - q the engage, braum dash in, or stop lucian ult -Teamfights, etc - don't q when running to keep mobi boot speed - ult back divers - always ward, and carefully at times - in case there's janna hunting - buy quick - need to ward | ||

1) First of all, they're really fun! Everyone (except for that one Ketara ragequit lol) is pretty amiable and willing to accept losses for what they are. This is definitely an improvement from the original IHs, where nobody would talk and most people didn't even have a mic. 2) Games are one-sided way too often. We usually just rush through to champion select without honestly considering balance (I myself being one of the chief culprits of this), seeing that everyone is more or less platinum. I think it's pretty clear that even though a lot of people are similar rank, some people just play in inhouses far better than others and we need to put more thought into balancing games 3) Too much target-banning, especially against Ketara, Scip, and occasionally me (I just wanna play Vel'Koz man ;  . We need to have less of a focus on winning and more of a focus on learning. This is more of a minor gripe though. 4) We now skip the older tradition of talking over each game like we used to, and I think the inhouses hold far less value than they used to since we never really discuss who did what and how they could do it better. I think, with more measured, controlled discussion at the end of these games we could get a lot more out of them. 5) No trolling. Couple people have been a little guilty of this (again this is almost totally me, sorry), but we haven't really let people know before they join that, despite the light atmosphere, we are here to play somewhat seriously and would appreciate it if you didn't go 0/20 (theres no excuse for that). 6) We almost always have a massive overflow of people who want to join, typically instead of scrounging for ten people we hit fifteen or sixteen people. Some way to create some semblance of a queue would be really great. 7) The games are all being recorded on my twitch stream if anyone ever cares to see em. I'm around for nearly every IH game, so feel free to come check em out! | ||

You should know who comes to mind 3) Target bans are lame. Don't do it. Ban what you'd do in solo queue IMO like we used to. 4) A lot less players at lower ELOs that want to greatly improve. Also, a lot less to talk about because the games are one-sided. 5) Plz no troll. It'd help if people don't overflow in game comms as well, because otherwise it's hard to focus while playing. 6) Just prioritize the people waiting for the next game. | ||
