Durr made a trashcan pick but he still has ground to criticize other players' plays because he's very skilled.
There's a certain touch of hypocrisy you'd have to overlook to accept advice from someone who locked in Heimer. I get that.

clearly not if they're picking "shit like heimer"
I'd definitely play a couple games if I know what's on the "neo's acceptable meta list"

He's still by far the best player in the game (stxz is a feeder scrub stuck in plat), and he knows how to jungle well. That alone gives him the room to speak whatever he wants (though he needs to tone it down and expect legit Bronzes to be bad).
Playing Heimer is whatever. It's the player that gives the advice. The champion he's playing is irrelevant. Criticism is fine, berating people when your playing heimer is not. What does Heimer have anything to do with his berating? If he were playing Ahri, does that give him any more privilege to berate people? Pretty much picking heimer, says 'yo not really trying this game' and then starts shitting on his teammates for a mistake? Thats soloq level of toxicity. For once I agree with wei2coolman It's just exhibiting a really stupid attitude that tells the other people "I'm better than you this isn't worth my time I'm just here to dick around." Yes, they're clearly troll picks. But what wei2coolman failed to mention was that during the game he was actively attempting to give him pointers. He just wouldn't listen, so it blew up after the game. People aren't just assholes for no reason. Actually lots of people are assholes for no reason or at least not at the fault of the person being shit on. They are usually the type of people who think they are tough but are really super thin skined and basically looking for reasons to fight, or, in the much wussier version "the internet" shit talk in posts, over game clients or over voice chat. Whats shocking is that most of these people think they have bad luck and some how these events just find them, and don't have the common sense to see the common piece in their arguements and issues. Its them. Whats exagerated this problem is all the people on T.V. that are "straight" talkers are played all cool. The funny thing is despite these people admiting its a character they play on T.V. or radio to create drama and make there show more interesting, so many people don't get it. And drama in your life doesn't create excitement or coolness it creates hurt. Most of the time for everyone. So, while anyone is feeling cool and tough for making some one else feel bad, I give them the slow clap. Congratulations, you chose to say that advice in a dickish way, which caused it to lose it's meaning, caused some one to feel bad, and while you think you come off as some awesome tough guy, really, at least to the mature people, is "Wow this guy is a dick. And what is so bad in his life that he has to over compensate so hard for." Some of the times for laughs in league if someone is being a complete dick to someone who is doing bad, or has commited the evil crime of not leashing long enough, leashing to long, not giving up buff, missing a mia (we all have wards and minimaps folks). I ask why they are over compensating. Generally all it really does is turn their rage to me. But I'm cool with it cause I just laugh at them and the more mad they get the more it proves my point. If the guy is esspecially nasty I often ask if it's a "getting it up or size issue." I know, not the most creative but I love to think of this angry guy in his mom's basement talking tough and being a dick on the internet. Most successful people in life have learned to social skills of giving advice, and opinions with out hurting people feelings. They actually pump people up and make them want to be better. The others do better making that person look better. People that shit on people often hit the glass ceiling pretty early and never figure out why. Its actually transferable, if people complimented others on there team, and pointed out good plays. People would preform better. So if your in a league lower then you think you deserve maybe it's your attitude bringing down the other players on your team. And it sounds like this ass needs more help then the bronze level players.
There is so much armchair psychology in this post it pains me. What are you over compensating for that you think everyone who does anything is over compensating(see, it's retarded)?

30 new posts? Must be drama.
Durr, you've been really helpful for me, but I've seen you blow up on the other team sometimes (and lose because of it). Something to consider is that bronze/silver players are often having trouble "just clicking". I know I used to freeze up in teamfights. A stream of advice is often going to be ignored.
The heimer pick was a 1v1 thing between the diamonds, maybe it gets boring to stomp in lane?
It's interesting to see the personalities of the players reflected in their play. Some things I've noticed:
Durr: goes on tilt if his advice is being ignored/argued with Mcmilo: can rage if losing and people play badly Roffles: his skill is proportional to how close the game is Aura: really snowbally player. Will stomp when ahead but can get discouraged when behind (personally). Dusty: super chill. Abnormally so.
(This isn't an indictment or anything, I enjoy playing with these guys a lot).

I was listening in on the teamspeak and DURR actually didn't sound assholish at all during the actual game and even arguably post game unless people had very thin skin. A majority of instances he was just pointing out what mistakes the Shyvanna was doing (which was many many). The only time he exploded was actually to wei2coolman when wei told DURR to rein it in a bit.
I think the Heimer/Galio pick should really be separated from his pointers as they were two totally different topics.
Roffles: his skill is proportional to how close the game is
LOL. Don't forget that there's also Dr.Offles.
But yeah, Dusty, Notomi and the dias in general tbh in game has usually been pleasant to play with.

Milo doesn't rage he just laughs at you

I can confirm this. I've played a bunch of games with Milo this past year. I've never heard him more than remotely agitated.

In my experience the worst thing Milo will ever say to somebody is "That was stupid. Don't do that."

Being the shyvanna player, I didn't find much wrong with what he said. It wasn't even that harsh imo. But you have to look at it from his point of view, I didn't do anything in the jungle and was complete dead weight while the other jungler was completely controlling the pace of the game, that's probably really frustrating, especially when your in a higher league and expect a certain standard. Obviously he can't expect nearly as much from these inhouses as he can from a jungler in a ranked game but you still have to hold people to a certain standard or they won't improve. Sure, he got pretty angry sometimes but he still tried to keep it under control and give good advice and I can thank him for that. I'm more sad about not being able to watch the replays from that night due to my LoL replay not working :<
Edit: I still think that it's alright to pick random champions as long as you still try your best to win, and feel confident with those champions. I think people would have more fun in these if we mixed up the picks every now and then.

It's just wei2coolman trying to start shit, people should stop discussing this particular game.
Nothing was even wrong, and heimerdinger was way more legitimate than what i did. (dorans blade -> hexdrinker -> triforce galio) Durr wasn't even that angry until wei2coolman started antagonizing durr for no reason at all.
|
Telling him to rein it in a bit is antagonizing? Lol okay.
As far as galio was concerned we agreed on a press R comp. So didn't really care bout it.

You were a really good sport about it btw LazyFailKid. Kudos on that.

Well, utility is a big part of it, Galio provides mad utility even without AP build, also didn't really care since we were snowballing game pretty hard. It got to the point where Vlad + Galio could 2v4 them and come out even.

Jayce has good utility without AD too. He has his gate right?
Wei2coolman, are you seriously trying to defend stxz' Triforce Galio? Are you PrinceXizor's smurf account? Cause your reasoning is just as fucking bad as his.
