I just had a game where we crushed bot (7/1 Lucian is going to carry right?), but other lanes lost so hard it was a 20 min ff, they talked about losing 5 min into the game. Can't blame them when Malph, Fizz and Nid jungle have one kill a piece, and 19 deaths together, while Riven and Orianna are 3 lvs above everyone else at the 12 minute mark (Malph hits 6 after me, wtf?). And I'm learning the pains of trying to get through Plat again: ppl don't group, it becomes a snore fest. Get a lead? We wait it out 20 minutes until enemy Jinx is full build. And to top it off, +15 LP per game, -21 per loss, so I can't rise in LP. Funnily enough I actually got through Plat 5 promos so easy... | ||

Dude black cleaver spin shredding their whole team's armor is definitely something. Silencing their APC is definitely something. I'm top lane, what do you expect me to do "for my team" when things snowballed in the other lanes so quickly. And I was very clearly trying to help them out (as noted by my participation in over 50% of my team's kills). I thought this was the QQ thread where you vented about shit teammates, not the "I'm an idiot and I'm going to say dumb shit" thread. | ||

I try to convince Blitz to play mid since as weak a mid choice as Blitz is, he is much better than Nami. But they insist on their duo in bottom. I ask why the didn’t mention this in champ select and they say they weren’t looking at chat. So I buy the doran’s ring (I have support masteries by the way since they told me too late) and head out to lane to face Yasuo. So then I solo kill Yasuo at level 3. < - - Nami OP After that I roam to bot lane and join up with Blitz and Miss Fortune and we get another kill via the 3v2. Then I roam top along with jungle Vi and we get another kill 3v1 and now all lanes are ahead. Then Vi takes mid and blitz and I both play as roaming supports arriving and giving whatever lane we wander into to a big advantage. Team racks up huge number of kills, gets fed with items and starts winning team fights left and right. Before too long we are up 50-30. Then their Shaco backdoors our base and we lose. GG Overall the game was surprisingly fun given what a clusterfork it was. But so much to QQ about. | ||

OK so I was D1 in season 3. I didn't play ranked in season 4, but I came back for S5. Crushed my placements, worked up through plat, and got into D5 with a record of roughly 75-48. I had a 8:1 KDA on janna with a 75% winrate, and almost as good stats on my jungle mains. Solo Q was good. And then BAM. My last 30 or so ranked games over the past month have seriously gone something like 5 – 25. I'm in disbelief. I went from playing with D2-3s to mid plats, and have been demoted back to plat1. I don't believe in ELO hell, but fucking christ the number of games which have felt out of my control is making me crazy. It's unreal. Every game. I've had more disconnects and 4v5s than I figure should be possible. And always on my team. ALWAYS. And I'm just in disbelief. Every time I sit down to ranked I think to myself “This shit can't possibly continue, can it?” LOL it can. I play a few games on Wednesday. Get a 4v5. Then get a troll support graves pick. Then another 4v5, and then a game where our fizz insists his W skill is broken. He manages 30 cs in 20 minutes. THIRTY. So then this afternoon I sit down and figure “oh this shit can't possibly continue, can it?” First game our top quits 10 minutes in. Second game we win. Third game our mid disconnects. We were so far ahead we won 2 teamfights 4v5, but eventually having no mage costs us the game. I'm just in actual serious disbelief. I'm fucking cursed. I can't comprehend how often this shit happens. I think I've seriously had about 15 4v5 games in the last 25 or so games. I DUO QUEUE with someone, and HE disconnects! WHAT THE FUCK T_T My KDA for my past 20 games according to op.gg is 4:1, and my record is 5-20. I can't even. I went from like 75-50 to 78-74. LoL gods pls why | ||

LoL gods pls why I had pretty similar experience but it was between plat 5 and gold 1 and few of my friends also had it again between 2 tiers. So I think this is not exactly random. Riot has something like black lists (this is how I call them) full with people that are for example reported for stuff or tilt (again my assumption how the black lists are created) and in the case of some events it puts you there. My observation is that you may go (notice that I say "may") into such list: 1) when you get reports 2) when in promos 3) when you lose promos 4) when you have long winning streaks 5) when you duo with a same person for a while and you have good results Outside of the 1st option, it looks like Riot is trying to validate if you are really the right rank so you have to prove yourself with the black list guys in your team. And you stay in that list until you start winning again and then your true elo is determined or something like that. The best way to get out of it is to duo with a friend who is better than that elo, perhaps with smurf account and together you make 10-12 wins out of 15 games and you are fresh to go again | ||
