late game shaco can pop his ult and easily take a tower or 2 and get out safely
it's actually pretty awful and makes him one of the best backdoorers with nasus and tryn

My duo partner got caught out and didn't respect the opposing team comp's chase potential. Lost mid tier 2 and inhib turret.
Okay shit happens.
Then he gets a bug splat and is out for 5 minutes. Opposing team grabs top and bot inhib in the ensuing 4v5 situation. We were ahead and probably in place to win even after losing the two turrets too. Fuck riot's client.

Laned against Nidalee for the first time since I started playing again (as Akali). Didn't realize she now has level 1 ult. Got dived and killed at level 2 (3 for her).
Later Jax comes to gank. I misjudge how much damage ignite will do, and stop chasing. He dives and dies.
After that I mostly just played horribly, and not surprisingly we lost.

This shit makes me sad, play a really tight game to win my G4 promos only to get:
- Feeding bot/mid (who left at 10mins)
- LeBlanc who hasn't played the champ for 3 months (admitted in chat) and DC'd for 5mins during landing, as well as a Shaco who takes bot tower while they 5 man our inhib
- Ziggs who rushed Rylai's because he was losing lane, I tried my best to protect our 15 kill ADC 
- Ok I fed this game
- 19/2 trist on enemy team, every time I look bot I see Jinx standing next to an unwarded Leona filled bush
And straight back to Gold 5. Riot pls

enemy jungler has one slow, enemy top + mid have zero CC. We have vision on enemy jungle on where he starts, where he is at 3 min, and when he tries to counter my wraiths at 4 min.
Enemy jungle kills both top and mid twice before 5 minutes.

Play one of those dumb long games where both teams make some dumb throws (Including one by me). Our team decides to clump vs a sejuani, she hits a 4 man ult and we lose the fight even though we gibbed the syndra. Me being the only person who didn't clump snipes the support as jayce but I can't 1v3 on our nexus.

I literally didn't say a single critical thing to anyone the whole game. Aside from 'we can win this' all I said to our kha was 'can you please build defence' to which his reply was 'stfu jayce you faggot muted'.

Well just lost a 4v5 because Ziggs decided we shouldn't win. Elise trolled for about 15mins too, so it was really a 3v4 (fiddle panth wombo too good - even when I ward so perfectly fiddle casts ult ON TOP OF A WARD and still kills us).

Just hit lvl 30 a few days ago and done about 15 or so ranked games already. Is someone not saying anything during the pick stage then suddenly stealing your pick something that happens a ton, or am I just getting unlucky?

Happens pretty often in all levels of play, simply because a lot of people AFK in champ select and just lock in whatever they want without reading the team chat. Or they follow the unspoken rule of champ select: "Pick order > call order" even though pick order is completely random and not based on MMR anymore.

Pick order is still inherently a much better system then "Whoever can type the fastest". Basically, the people are not "stealing" your role if they are ahead of you in pick order. If someone ahead of you in pick order wants your role, they are entirely in their right to take it. Unlike the idiotic system that is going on in blind picks, in draft it does not matter how fast you connect into the game lobby. Learn to accept that maybe someone else also wants to play the same role you do, as there sadly is no queuing for role system in the game.
Sometimes if you ask nicely, and or tell them just how bad you are at other roles, they will try to work something out that allows you to play the role you are good at. Sometimes not.
If they are behind you in pick order and pick something you have already picked, they are obviously idiots because no team needs two junglers.

Akali constantly disconnected, but every other lane was so extremely fed by then that I couldn't do jack. Yi never ganked and never talked, he just kept dying in our jungle but nobody would put up wards. Yi didn't even have a trinket ward. So sad.
Why do people have to keep feeding? I imagine the thought-process goes along these lines: "Oh no, they killed me, I better try to kill them now! ... Oh no, I died again - first of all, it wasn't my fault and secondly, I have to really kill them now and push my lane to make me even more attractive for the enemy jungler."
