The problem is that that's not criticism, that's harassment. You're being a dick when you say that to him, and they have every right to be upset about it. It's an honest mistake, and it's not even a strategic one, it's a mechanical one. There isn't really any sort of criticism you could give in that situation that would actually be useful.
Don't get angry when your teammates get upset with you after you rage at them, because you're the one with the attitude problem.
Sorry, I know this is the thread where people vent their rage and QQ, but I don't have much patience for people that think they need to make their teammates feel like shit whenever they screw up. Rage all you want here, but don't do it to their faces in-game.

I always hated all these guys that were like "top / mid only or feed", but in the recent past I started to understand them more and more. I was used to play bot lane in a premde and it was fun. But for now I lost my duo partner and playing with someone unknown is just hell. It makes my favourite role AD the most unenjoyable thing in the virtual world.
Heck, I even prefer the loneliness of the jungle right now over bot lane.

disagree it's an honest question with an easy answer "how did you miss taunt bro?" "my cat jumped on my lap" "i lagged" "misclicked" "my mom just died and my head's not in the game"
any of those are fine answers. yeah it sucks that you just fucked up my lane but at least you have a reason.

when you mess up, someone needs to acknowledge your mistake. if no one ever tells you you did wrong, you'll never improve

yeah i should probably not use normal vernacular when i'm speaking to people online i guess
also zzzzzz
2 games in a row, i've won my lane massively, every other lane has lost, it's still close because their top laner is nothing and i'm wrecking their team, it goes to lategame, and my team gets caught out warding baron or basediving or some shit
really wish there was a surrender option at 1 minute... if you can tell that your teammates are just fundamentally bad players, not players that made mistakes, you should get to opt out sooner

First ranked in 2 Weeks. first pick tells us he will pick ad for lastpick, last pick will get mid for him. I am second and pick support. third picks kat mid, fourth picks khazix top. last picks riven and tells kha to go jungling, which he won't.
At start of the game, i silence the whole team. riven and kha both hanging around top. mid is feeding. riven discs at lvl 4.

Maybe he just didn't have an answer. People just mess up sometimes. I know raging at people who make mistakes, even simple ones, feels very good, but, surprisingly, that doesn't make them play better.
And to be honest, to me the problem wasn't the question, but what came after it. saying "i literally cannot win the lane now that lee has a double kill on me, and i'm elise and i'm supposed to win lane so if i don't win lane, i don't see us winning the game" equates to saying "good job, noob, now you just singlehandedly lost us the game and the next half hour of our lives gg", when you know very well that it isn't so. Leads can be won back and it pisses me off when someone on the team gives off a lead and someone else assumes a negative attitude towards the game instead of pressing on.

why does the reason even matter? so you know how much you can harass him later?

1400 is literally the hardest ELO I've played.... shaco dominates all lanes and when hes on my team he just feeds my lane buffs and kills for free. Double bruisers actually work effectively against mentally handicapped bot lanes too.

That isn't taking criticism to improve their game. It doesn't matter WHY he missed. Everyone misses sometimes. Would you like it if every time you made a mistake, someone went "Why did you screw that up? Now we've lost the game"?

Exactly. No matter how the question was asked, the answer would always be USELESS aside from satisfying a curiosity. Do you think advice could be given like "don't make your cat jump on your lap" or "try not to misclick" or "don't play after your mom dies" would have any practical value?
Edit: grammer.

Jungler doesn't gank a pushed lane -> HOW MOTHERFUCKING DARE HIM!!! Wukong feeds Singed -> Jungler's fault Mid doesn't get ganks to his pushed lane -> Jungler's fault Bad weather -> Jungler's fault Mom screams at son to stop playing LoL and start studying -> Jungler's fault You play WC3 and you're low on wood -> Jungler's fault
Blame the junglers guys, sure as hell it makes you feel pro

I get matched with a 4 man skype premade who have absolutely no awareness and clearly aren't communicating with each other. I'm Kass mid vs Diana and I destroy her in lane and roam to start ganking. They start raging at me for 'KSing' them on my ganks and then start trolling me, following me around trying to take all my farm (and failing), smiting blue from me (and failing), Sona using her ult to kill creeps that I'm farming (and failing), etc.
You know, the usual stuff that matchmaking throws at you to make you hate the game.
The annoying thing is, I know I'll get at least 4 reports (they tried to convince the enemy team to report me for raging and harassing them in post game chat) from that game just because they were mad that they weren't playing up to par.

That is seriously the most annoying thing about this game. The only time I ever agree with them is when I play top and they wait until 15 minutes to gank top, since top can be determined so much by the jungler. Like if their jungler doesnt gank and mine doesnt either cool I lose lane straight up. But when I get 3-4 ganks before 8 minutes and get no ganks or counter ganks I feel like I was hung out top dry.
Another annoying this is the lack of wards in solo queue games. In 5 mans we always have at least 6-8 wards on the map. In 1200-1400 solo queue games you're luck if you have the normal 2 wards for bot lane, and that just pisses me off when people complain about ganks then refuse to ward as a top, mid, or jungler. Hell as adc I tend to buy 2-3 wards a game to help out my support.
|
Just one new entry in the QQ hall of infamy this time. I haven't really played LoL since very early in S3 so I don't check the forums much. Still, I enjoy seeing people at their lowest moments so I'll keep checking this thread occasionally and update the OP with my favorites.
Carry on!
|
I tell these players basic shit. Keeping track of where wards are placed and timers. Ward your lane. I say this over and over and over, sometimes to the same players. And do they fix anything? No but they sure can bitch when they get ganked and dont' understand how or why I don't gank for them. These things would improve their play more then any "stop missing skillshots" would ever, and yet they still refuse to do so. But no clearly I purchased my elo which is why I have a diamond border.
|
Dear supports, if they are pushing the lane level one, back the fuck up so you don't die when ezreal E, Q, ignite, auto's you...ffs how hard is that to understand?
|
Got matched with Chaox and all he did was complain on stream about how bad our team was, from what my friends told me. We all played our best of our ability and he couldn't carry, he was 1/4 vayne btw

Nvm, I can just lanegank. Went into the close bottom brush (we're blue side), waited a bit. Not even a nibble. Just as I recalled though, I saw their jungle Talon coming bot. Pinged him, our guys baited him into the brush i was in and sucker has no idea. He came to the brush with his teammates half a screen away, easy taunt and kill right? No. I miss the taunt, our adc Kog Maw gets killed and their jungle talon gets out with 20 hp.
Kog if you're reading this, I'm so sorry for missing that taunt. Desperately trying to get better at hitting taunts.
P.S: We ended up winning the game because I actually could hit a taunt in wukong vs rengar top lane (wukong was my premade teammate) which resulted in a wukong first blood which snowballed into game.
P.P.S: Shadow Dash is more difficult than Rupture to me. I have a better hit ratio with Shadow Dash but it just seems a bit buggy to me. I can have random misses on Shadow Dash whereas with rupture, you just place it for your needs.

I hate my internet so much. I've disconnected from four games over the last 2 days due to internet problems and would be surprised if I haven't been warned /temp bannedyet. Guess I'll find out tonight.
