I play Graves because you know, best carry in the game right now, get more farm than anyone on either team, nice and early IE, but no, Ryze feeds Anivia and goes 1/7 and the game is fucking MY FAULT BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO POSITION IN A TEAMFIGHT

I've never ended up with anyone I have on ignore. And I have quite a few people there.

Could also wait a couple of minutes to queue to make sure that theyre farther along into the queue or in a match so you dont get matched with him. And it was pretty obvious neither had ignored the other cuz they just flamed each other all during champ select

Top ww vs gragas has 3 cs and already died once 1v1. Stands at tower with 200hp and no mana, refuses to go back.
Mid, fizz vs talon. 5 cs to talons 30. Guy couldn't dodge blades with P/T if his life depended on it, too scared to go into the lane and last hit, but stays at his tower with 300hp. Really?

Much easier as AD carry though. I've tried baiting enemies to tower but it doesn't work.

I'm Janna supporting a Kog. He starts health crystal vs Leona/Graves, whatever I generally let people slide on things like that. Our jungle Ali and Le Blanc are absolutely fucking up mid TF like they do and our Malph is crushing Garen top so I'm in a good mood. Their jungle Xin is busy trying to save his lanes and Graves keeps pushing so I ward up lane brushes instead of river and their kill lane doesn't kill us.
I can't really say anything to convince you how retarded this Kog gets at this point in the story since most people just assume Janna was at fault but he decides he desperately needs to fight zerkers + double dorans with just his ruby crystal and dies still fighting despite my ult to save him. He then explains to me that he never wins with Janna's on his team and that she's a totally unviable champ. I spend the next minute listening to noob Janna does no damage before muting him.
I'm just lucky 0-6-0 kog had zero items except his 15 minute ionic spark to his name (not even boots) so team generally sided with me. Dear god am I glad he decided to intentional feed once everyone started bitching at him and we lost though. Would have hated to carry that guy to higher elo, discovered afterward I was a good 200 Elo above everyone else on my team so I don't know what combination of premades resulted in that.
That was my game to break 1600 too.

you're likely playing at an elo with enough people populating it that you won't get the same people 2 games in a row or twice ever anyway
when you get higher and there's a smaller player pool, you'll see people you've ignored all the time
the worst part is if you're in a ranked game with someone you have on ignore, it un-ignores them at the start of the game automatically. it's bullshit

So this is a QQ sort of, because it gets on my nerves when people write off Dominion like that.
Dominion is a real game. Most people just write it off as imbalanced and never bother learning how to play it properly and just go back to normal 5v5's. After losing the first couple, they just get mad that their skills in normals don't really carry over and go back. *coughquitterscough* When dominion first came out, I think I lost something like 7 games before my first win, and just toughed it out from there and got better.
Anyways, if you have to, think of it as midgame practice. Lane phase is ezpz to learn, but midgame is harder. Learn how to defend, stay with your team, defend points, etc. I find there's a pretty strong correlation between players who are good at midgame and how fast they pick up Dominion. Except in cases of abysmal terribad, I;d take someone with the better midgame over someone with the better lane phase too.
It also takes forever to get to lvl 30 by only playing Dominion, so I don't suggest it. My newish dom-only account is around 200/100, but I've still got a couple levels to go.
