Solar is pretty competitive with Clem when he gets to mid-game unscathed, but it's hard for him to get out of the early-game without some kind of disadvantage against Clem's aggression. SHIN and Rogue have also done pretty well against Clem when they can survive to a good econ and just A-move with Ultra at like 11-12 mins. | ||

I don't expect the Maru/Reynor series to look similar. Maru is probably going to be a lot more timing-attack oriented than Reynor. | ||

I think Solar matches up well stylistically against Clem for the most part. Clem and Solar each definitely could have played cleaner. Solar didn't even try to go for evo blocks against hellions, for example, and Clem lost banshees/ate fungals he didn't have to. | ||

Maru with his injury management, and we haven’t seen a huge amount of him, Reynor with his motivation tending towards the big money events and his level seems to be trending up and up. I’m super curious how Maru approaches this one. Reynor absolutely hates playing against a defensive Terran style, and Maru historically has been very good at that. But can he play that way? Nice segment with Solar, I love how most Koreans don’t showcase much English at all, and Solar is basically fluent and there’s seemingly nobody in the middle haha | ||
