SHIN making up for Stats throw with his own

Ragnarok is still not that guy. You just can't trust that he's going to be able to hold it together for an entire 7 game series with big stakes on the line.

Imagine if Stats recalled onto SHIN's army with no overseers, woulda been baller lol

Wouldn't say it's that bad, it has a lot of great uses especially with all its buffs over the years. But, it is definitely not a unit that you should mass and it isn't a unit you attack into positions with. Kinda like making pure stalkers.

It's so good to see Stats being back in the mix again
|
Stats looks so good, with slightly better late-game control against T I think he can win tournaments.
|
Oh how Stats has been missed. What a performance today!
Now with a patch and Stats looking in shape could Protoss even be in play for a GSL ti.......no, not gonna say it.
|
I'm officially a fan of the new map pool. These games have been SO MUCH better these last two nights and the maps can take a huge portion of the credit for that.

this so much!!!!! this is a good first step to gaining some interest back in the game
there's been so much spread out gameplay and constant fighting, units just constantly littered around the map and reinforcing different attack paths
Edit: Oh thanks for the rec games too. Would love to see that be included in LR threads like back then.

Ideally, if Protoss wants to win this, you need herO in the finals. He's the only Protoss that has a realistic chance of bring down Maru or Cure in a 7 game series.
But I'd be happy to see Stats in the finals as well. He's been playing so well lately.
|
The way things are set up at the moment, I think Maru will just "luck up" to another GSL title. He hasnt look overwhelmingly impressive to me, but still good enough to win GSL.
|
Stats bringing smiles to the "Protoss isn't weak, the good players just all retired" crowd.
Even the two games he lost to Cure were big throws on his part, so he still has room to improve even more.
|
With how dragged out the season is why are the finals still played right after the semis, it is such an uncharacteristic development of GSL.

...Or maybe a patch just went through after which protoss is probably the most favored race? People will just say anything, won't they. Stats didn't come back from military last week.

Impressive how you can call the balance just a few days after the patch But ofc we just had a patch (that helped toss) and new maps silly to say this wouldnt have any impact but stats had been on the up already before.

Besides, Stats looked like a beast last week, before the patch was even out. He's been getting better since military every time we've seen him

Or you can actually watch the games and notice that the patch is having next to no actual impact on any of the matches involving Protoss.
The patch IS however having a VERY noticeable effect on TvT and a noticeable impact on TvZ.
Also it's hilarious that herO, Classic and Stats all advanced to the Ro8 before the patch even happened, when Protoss was "underpowered" and now according to guys like Nebuchad are only advancing to the Ro4 after winning the same number of Bo3's they won pre-patch because Observers got buffed and Widow Mines and Cyclones got nerfed. lol.

These maps are really killing the zerg.
