He can win out the last 3 matches and hope the rest of the matches going to his favor. Some players qualified and won Katowice from 2w-3l group stage, but you need the stars to align. So if he loses his first match vs herO tomorrow, he doesn’t have his fate in his hands later on, while a win might make it ok?

This is way too early - but it'll be crazy if Showtime wins here, because then we will likely have two championship contenders out before the playoffs.

Maru also needs to shore up his TvP immediately, I dont get why he cant play the same Bio style in TvZ for TvP. Just have Bio Mine keep on trading and then get Libs to dominate the late game. Clem and Cure won a bunch of TvP with such simple concept and great execution.

At least ShoWTimE is probably not gonna try gamble pushes like Cyan, so Maru will probably get to play macro games And even if he gets behind ShoWTimE is not trigger happy, his style is good for Maru

Showtime's PvZ is looking damn strong

Showtime should have sent it as soon as he held the nydus play.

lurker tech by Dark is really nice, he can claw himself back into this.

ShoWTimE is far ahead but please don’t do a herO lol, kill him already

Well I guess it works out for Showtime anyways.
Stats should be taking notes.
I am curious to see what Dark's play looks like when he doesn't lose a gamble on an allin.

Truly delivering up to, and exceeding, already sky-high expectations

His oracle control looks really good.

Schedule of Katowice - and many other weekenders - is so skewed.
If we take a player who goes all the way to the finals: Thursday - 4-6 maps (Bo3 x2) Friday - 4-6 maps (Bo3 x2) Saturday - 5-8 maps (Bo3 + Bo5), or just 2-3 if you got top-1 in your group! Sunday - 10-17 maps (Bo5 + Bo5 + Bo7)
Most important games that decide the fate of $150k are played by very tired players who are mostly out of builds/preparation. I understand it's that way for broadcasting reasons.
But otherwise I think having - three Bo3 on first day, two Bo3 on second day (or another way around, doesn't matter) - Ro12 and Ro8 on Saturday = 3-5 or 6-10 maps, depending on whether you got top-1 in your group - Semis and Finals on Sunday = 7-12 maps. ...would be much better.
Sunday is still the most busy day, but at least not by such a ridiculous margin.

Dark pushing into that storm, crazy aggressive.
