Me too. Reminds me of 2019 Blizzcon. I knew before that tournament ever started that a Zerg was going to win it, but if a Zerg was going to win I wanted it to be Dark. He won that. and if he beats herO and Maru doesn't make the Finals, I hope he wins this one too.

Meh, he just had to do something other than eat multiple full volleys of swarm hosts. Warm 6 zealots into the main, OR just go home. Panic warping in 6 stalkers while mass immortals fight swarm hosts and hydras... he stuck around way too long.

At one point I counted 11 immortals.For one moment I thought he'd win. Well played by dark.

Not balance whinning, just wondering, do you think immortals barrier should be changed to be more consistent? I've always thought the way it works it's a little weird.

After the immortal receives damage (so if they receive 50 damage, the shield activates AFTER receiving the damage), the shield activates, and then has a 32 second cooldown. Meaning that if you hit it with 1 zergling and wait 2 seconds for it to run out, or for example a lurker shot/tank atacks it, the immrotal received full damage, and after that activates the barrier, and you wait, it means the barrier is completely useless.

I always thought changing it to make it more consistent would have been a good change.

And just to be clear, in no way do I believe Creator lost because of that.

You do know how Hardened Shields USED to work right?

These ARE the more consistent Immortals. I'd rather keep them as they are than mess them up with some kind of half baked rework that doesn't work as well.

Immortals are one of the better designed units that Protoss has in their arsenal right now. They were busted like crazy a long time ago.

I think Barrier is a really boring ability and enjoyed Hardened Shields better, but if you're worried about it being prematurely triggered like that, you can just take it off autocast.
