Nah even as a Maru fan, you can't say he played better in the series when he fucking GIFTED Reynor Game 4. Doing shit like that is Maru's achilles heel and has been his entire career. If he would just stop beating himself in big game tournaments like that he would have twice as many titles as he does already. | ||

I mean, his plan wasn't great and he made silly mistakes but once the games reached middle game, Maru gave the impression to be a bit better yes. As you said, he beats himself (I wouldn't go as far but I don't think he should have lose this serie either which proves my point :p) | ||

Same reason why people who support an athlete/team watch soccer or football or literally any other sport. They're rooting for someone. If I support Manchester United and see them lose 4-3 to Manchester City, I'm not going to be musing deeply about how exciting the game was - I would be understandably (extremely) upset. Is it irrational behaviour? Yeah, I suppose it is. But that's just the nature of watching any kind of sport for some people | ||
