He's confident against Zest, and he managed to beat Maru so I wouldn't count out Reynor beating Zest.

Can you really call underdog the guy who won the most premiers in 2020?

I had no idea who was going to win. Agreed. I do think however that the casters made that look far worse for Reynor than it actually was. Even when he had lost all his bases, he was able to counterpunch immediately and crushed Maru's economy as well. I never really felt as if Reynor was dead there. I play neither Zerg nor Terran, so I have to take your word for it, but low economy usually favours Terran, and Zerg usually needs to be ahead in bases just to keep it even in ZvT, so on general principles Reynor looked super dead to me. It wasn’t your typical low eco game though, Reynor had plenty of drones it was a matter of getting hatches back up and keeping Maru from killing him. Maru probably wins if he doesn’t kill one of the hatches vs killing the drones instead, Reynor was pretty good at pulling them away mind I kinda agree but I don't remember a clear moment when he could have done that, Reynor was very quick on the pulls and bringing back some army everytime
Hard to judge without the replay, imo. There was so much going on that the observer barely managed to catch up with all the fights going on at the same time. Reynor definitely reacted perfectly in many cases though as far as we can judge.

For those of you hoping Zest is going to upset Reynor in the finals, I recommend just doing something else so you don't feel sad xd

3 year streak of international events being only ZvP or ZvZ finals can't be broken by Maru. The sole exception is WESG. Let's make it 4 years with 2021.

Stop it already, Reynor faced the strongest players this torunament. He played against Zest (his only loss), Stats, Dark and Maru and he's facing either Parting or Zest in the finals. This has nothing to do with "luck".

Y'a I'm done for this Katowice, have fun ya'll! Toxicity as its finest. How is that toxicity? He has stated his opinion and his intention is to stop watching starcraft for a while. That's just what he wants Because a player won ? x) You are like kpop fan, cringy af Ok maybe I over reacted a bit, but I'm not particularly a Maru fan, I thought Reynr was one of the favorite going into today, clearly he deserve to win if he does. But the casting, jesus the casting is just to much for me to take. I get that Reynor is their friend, a nice guy and that they hang out with him and whatnot while they don't really know Maru, but listening to Clem games on the french stream was more neutral. I watch the French stream except for clem's games, I don't think it can be true. But yeah on the French stream they were both hyped for the foreigner and one of the caster is a big maru fanboy so it evens out, lot of passion, no bias.

I like how a failure to build walls while Terran somehow isn't an indicator of skill.

Ha ha Kaelaris already setting up for "Reynor goat" if he becomes the champion.

I wouldn't be too sure. But I'd rather see Reynor play Zest than Parting. Parting is probably the bigger threat.

Unfortunately we get a PvZ finals now and PvZ just sucks. No bad feelings for neither of the players remaining, but I just hate the matchup. To play just as much as to watch.

Imo any super close 3-2 series is arguably decided by "luck", but that's true no matter who wins. Anyone who can make it to match point against multiple top tier players in a row is a deserving champion even if they get a few lucky breaks along the way.

Yes. Known troll. His comments should be automatically deleted.
Im t player and i think maru played great. But Reynor is rly on the same lvl obviously.

God, why are the casters still talking about Maru? He's out of the tournament, let it go.
So much bias, ugh.

Hopefully we can get a few GSL terran finals and hope is just as bad as 2020 and not as BAD as 2019.

French cast was much better Foreign casters are too biased haha. Super sad series, I think I need a couple weeks off. Maru was the last hope for a terran champion, so sad. I haven't watched the French stream, but I imagine the difference is that the French commentators are just openly cheering for their player, while on the english stream they pretend to be neutral while talking about how Serral is the goat, Reynor outplayed Maru in those 2 games he lost, Clem is the best terran in the world etc.
