It would be a huge disappointment and very underserving if someone won the world championship solely based off luck. If Dark won game 5 against Reynor after Reynor threw it would have been "luck" for Dark but you wouldn't have called it that. Chill out.

It wasn’t your typical low eco game though, Reynor had plenty of drones it was a matter of getting hatches back up and keeping Maru from killing him. Maru probably wins if he doesn’t kill one of the hatches vs killing the drones instead, Reynor was pretty good at pulling them away mind

I would argue the game was kinda even over the biggest part of the game. First Reynor got a lead, then Maru killed all the hatcheries everywhere and brought it back, even ahead. Reynor immediately counterpushed and did an insane amount of damage as well. And then Maru was completely caught offguard with the Infestors. The first fungals decided the game, imo. That was an insane amount of dmg in a situation Maru was not really allowed to take that much dmg.

There is always luck involved, but win is a win. It is not like when Maru wins, his opponents make zero mistakes and it is all greatness from Maru.

Again, that's because of the map. Terran can't ever expand beyond the bases Maru took unless Zerg massively fucks up. That map favored Reynor more than any other map in the pool. Maru was so fucking reckless to not play straight up on Lightshade that map would have been way better for him.
