Toxicity as its finest.
How is that toxicity? He has stated his opinion and his intention is to stop watching starcraft for a while. That's just what he wants
Because a player won ? x) You are like kpop fan, cringy af

He's supposed to be hyped about this foreigner and casters talking about foreigners and not aknowledging the other player too much!!!!

Nah the map was the deciding factor in that game just like it was in most of the series.
Pillars of Gold is HEAVILY Zerg favored. It's borderline impossible to take a 6th as Terran on that map, super easy for Zerg to.
I've had that map vetoed since it came into the pool precisely because it favors Zerg so much. You either win with a 2 base push or you lose slowly due to superior Zerg economy.

Agreed. I do think however that the casters made that look far worse for Reynor than it actually was. Even when he had lost all his bases, he was able to counterpunch immediately and crushed Maru's economy as well. I never really felt as if Reynor was dead there.
I play neither Zerg nor Terran, so I have to take your word for it, but low economy usually favours Terran, and Zerg usually needs to be ahead in bases just to keep it even in ZvT, so on general principles Reynor looked super dead to me.

awful. maybe it is me not watching games for a while to see in what condition this game is.
awful, awful. gg maru, you did beat a player but not a game.
So frustrating that some people can be this lucky. Reynor got totally destroyed and outclassed in the first 2 games and then Maru and lady luck decided to gift him the series for some reason:
- Lucky build orders - Marus play and macro slowing down due to shoulder pain - Open walls - Maru even had the last game won despite his macro being way slower than previos games. All he had to do was attack Reynor before he established his bases and built infestors but he just waited there to die
Oh well, its up to you Zest to stop this nonsense now. It would be a huge disappointment and very underserving if someone won the world championship solely based off luck.

Thats what I did after 2020 was all about the z/p finals with zerg winning (and 2019 too, lets not kid ourselves).
I just think Reynor(or zerg)vP finals gets old after the... checks notes, 13th time.

That's ridiculous. He wasn't bashing anyone, he wasn't doing anything wrong. He wants to stop watching sc2 for a couple of years because a player won - that's on him. It's the same as not wanting to watch professional chess because Magnus Carlsen wins too much, and it's not toxic.
