this one is a toss-up for me :0 Really? I thought Rogue looked super scary in the groupstage across all matchups. Yeah he clowned himself in 1 game against Parting with that stupid drone drill but otherwise he displayed an incredible form. Always one step ahead against all his opponents in everything he did. Based on what we have seen, I am expecting a 3:0 or 3:1 for Rogue here, but lets see if Maru powers up or not. same here, I thought he looked great. But Maru is in shape too. I agree it's a very hard one to predict.

Is Zest actually playing that well this tournament? I missed his games and much of his recent tournaments so maybe I'm sleeping on him but quite a few people have him up there as the favourite.

Damn you're too reasonnable (or sensible, I always confuse both words)

Then again it was bo3s

Clem vs Serral could be the other cadidate for now. I think this was more tense, exciting and strange given how game 5 went, Clem vs Serral was of better quality across the sets though IMO yeh, but you can rate "series" in a different way from "games" It's like how the Life-sOs BlizzCon final was an amazing series with seven pretty mediocre-to-awful games Yeah rewatching some of the classics after the fact that does become painfully apparent. What series are both incredible from a drama and narrative sense while also containing some truly great games too? Mvp vs Squirtle would come to mind immediately for me Serral-soO from Katowice had both Good series there. I'm not really sure what Demu is talking about in terms of Maru being the little brother to Rogue, I mean Maru was posting results years ago and if not always called upon I'm pretty sure he was Jin Air's de facto ace/best player. In terms of results in korea, Maru has been the best Jin Air player since he joined the team.
I mean, no shit, Maru has the best results in korea period.

But this is his most dangerous form imo

I truthfully think he's hoping TY beats Parting his PvP has been shaky. But he looked good in groups

Ah I'm a noob, heart votes all the way, so don't mind me.

yeah Zest could do very well given good luck and a few clutch moments and the right opponents, he could also bomb out without doing anything, this is the Way of the Zest

Yes he actually is. His last tournament performance was a stomp of Reynor, TY and Cure and he just looks really strong.

I'm on board with no best in the world. I thought the Maru/Serral dominance was boring and started watching during TaekBangLeeSsang so I have a distinct preference .

Lemme bring up Serral again for no reason:
My streak of picking Serral as the favorite to win in every tournament he enters is officially over. 2018 WCS Montreal - 2021 IEM Katowice RIP. It was a good run ^_^
I will make a commemorative plaque out of this and give it to him at the next opportunity

Yes, my english is pretty bad, I thought sensible had the same meaning as raisonnable in french while reasonnable could have a different meaning.
