![[image loading]](https://i.imgur.com/bMMzOAI.png) Hey everyone! Plain and simple : stream support has been amazing lately. European events have also been stacked to the brim with fantastic players who clearly want to play a hell of a lot of StarCraft. So here's our solution to that & a thank you to the fans for recent support: doubling our planned WardiTV European League prize pool & bringing the event forward to help bring more content during our quarantines. FormatFour $625 'Point Builder' events which lead into a $2,500 main event. $625 Events consist of one $125 Qualifier which qualifiers four players, who are joined by four invites in the eight player event. This plays out in two dual-elimination groups followed by a double elimination playoff bracket. The $2,500 event is qualification only. Winners & Runnes-up of the $625 events are automatically qualified into the RO16. The rest of the players will play in the RO24 and will be seeded based on performances in the $625 events & their qualifiers via European League (EL) Points. Wardi, we need to have a serious talk man... You keep feeding my addiction to sc2 and its getting quite unhealthy dude...
I love you <3<3

Wardi just is Starcraft at this point

I just read Take ist (maybe?) getting EP points for Stay at HSC. Any chance you can make that magic happen as well? Would maybe attract more of the big guns. I mean I enjoy Reynor vs Clem TV as much as the next guy, but this could possibly be another step up. Another point (and this may come overly critic but really isn't meant to be) could you maybe hold on having so many small tournaments and like save up for one bigger?
Anyway, love you and what you are doing! You are the sole owner of my prime sub for the unforseeable future <3

more sc2 is always good news

Too many rules to follow etc, need more regions involved. I have 0 interest in holding cross-server events at the moment because of the state of the NA server for Koreans.
Also if I don't have content by running smaller events, how am I meant to save up for a bigger one? :'D I already doubled the prize pool for this and it'll be my third $5,000+ event of the year already. I hardly think they are small events -- running a $5,000 tournament that is done in a week isn't sustainable.

When you re on the EU server, there is only Serral, who is better than them. But he isn t playing a lot of online stuff anyways. And a lot of high level Koreans already participate in Wardi events as well. Dark, Rogue, Maru and others wouldn t play every Wardi event even for double the Price, when they decide to hide builds for GSL anyways. Wardi allready is attracting the big guns, of all the players that play online.

For me, one of the highlights is always when the top players of each region duke it out :D Also I want to be sure the players are playing like serious. A bigger pricepool has that effect
I didn't know about the NA server problems or the rules that come attached so EPT point, so that makes sense. With "smaller" tournaments I meant like the recent "sold out" tournament, which I guess was for something specific? My main problem is, despite what is going on in the world, I don't have the time or the muse to watch all these little things and would much rather have one bigger thing to follow where I would also catch up with the vods. But this is all just me and my personal opinion, so no reason to go full whiteknight on me
As for the content, if for example one bigger event with round robin groups is done, that should be quite some

I mean I run events because I need content and there is some logic in place as to how large an event is based on the prize I attach to it. If i only ran large events, i would be spending more and casting less, so you can see the issue

Wasnt able to tune in but seems like upsets galore. Bee and MaxPax qualifying over some of the biggest names in europe. Of course reynor doesnt care about all that and is in the finals anyways.

Haha Reynor just took Gungfu and stuffed him in the garbage holy shit

Unbelievable, Wardi needs freetime? Sleep is for the weak

Good showing from maxpax although building a nexus in your opponents main after easily holding a 2rax wasnt the best decision

WP by Clem but damn, Maxpax has gotten so good. Going toe to toe with the 3rd best EU player in a Bo5 is no joke. He's getting an EPT semifinal next year, calling it right now

Unfortunate that these have to be at the same time as the Kubo Championship, but it's understandable.

That could certainly make the scheduling more complicated given that Reynor (and almost certainly some other players) will be in both events.

I mean, the Kubo event is going to be in Korea friendly time zone and my event is in EU, it's not going to be any direct overlap. Can't just not stream for the 8 days the tournament is on :/

Is the KB event in a Korea friendly time zone? I wasn't aware of that. Then yeah, no direct overlap is good.

Weird and a bad look for the tournament.

Wardi moved the tournament yesterday because the schedule overlapped with other events more so than he'd hoped. There's no new date yet cause he has to still figure one out.
