It's not the same as playing against players like Denver, HeroMarine, Neeb or Reynor (Montreal path), no disrespect, but three of them weren't good enough to get through the offline qualifiers.

So i'm not sure he is "as likely to advance as he always is". You must have stopped watching while Cure was ahead, since Serral defeated Cure in the IEM qualifiers; also, he has never lost to TY until now(won 3-1 twice and "won" 3-3 once at HSC). That argument about invitationals and region locked tournaments is silly at best and totally out of place when used against Serral, who won his group at Katowice in 2017, 2018 and 2019 already. Ah, I also guess you didn't notice Serral reached ro8 at worst in the last 7 Premier tournament with koreans(leaving out HSC and GSL vs the World just because they don't fit your arbitrary standard). If there is a player who is expected to advance from any group, it's Serral.

I don't remember the last time Serral didn't make at least 2nd place in his group, and it seems ~90% of the time he was 1st in his group, including global tournaments, so there's no reason to worry about Serral. Looking forward to seeing Serral's current form. @DieuCure Serral never lost a match to Cure. Yeah, when Soo finally won something last year, everyone was like, he takes a well deserved breack and was absolutly OK, with his half year slump. While I don t realy like Reynor taking 2-3 month of completle, I can understand it at least. His result is somewhat expected for me and will hopefully cause him practising even harder now. It doesn t mean Reynor is never winning anything ever anymore. As long as he learns from defeat it s fine. And he s been pretty good in that part so far. In a way I m glad this didn t work out for him, as it shouldn t have worked anyways.

4G is bad in the auditorium though, Maru might have to do his magic against Trap without my eyes on him
