Blinding cloud seriously screws with Thors, and microbial shroud can mitigate Liberators. If both spells land, Zerg can just charge in with Corruptors/Lurkers and go to town. Thors are awful at retreating and Abduct/Neural can also work wonders. Honestly I expect Thor/Lib to fade out as Zergs figure out how to counter with lots of spells. It's Ghost/Lib that should really worry Zergs, since snipe can't be blinded and EMP against Infestor/Viper doesn't need explaining. In any case, Zerg lategame is definitely going to be harder than spamming ITs, which I think everyone can agree is a good thing.

Hopefully the result of what you describe is that the zerg strategy will only work in bursts. So the zerg burns the mana on spells and can only defeat the terran comp while the spells are active, i.e. swarming in. Thus we avoid the dreaded stalemates that blord/fester/spore produced.

![]() On the other side this edition looks awesome! I like such BO2 groupstage round-robin, means any point matters on greater scale. Very competitive! Casters also has great synergy with players during games I expect Mr.Bitter & Rotti to cast some important games also! Ohana ![]()
