Even in the playoffs the first few rounds will probably be walkovers. I much prefer the format of for example IEM. I said it yesterday and I'll say it again: Just be glad this tournament happens at all

At IEM, everyone was there, like literally all the korean pros, except for Classic who couldnt make it due to some paperwork/ military drafting issue. And i cant think of any foreigner semi-pro who wasnt there. So obviously, there were a lot more big names in the group stage of the main events, and then in the single elimination bracket.

As much as I get it, he either goes first place or elimination as even losing 1-2 would put mean he'd have same map score as Rail , having lost the head to head. I think so. If he loses 2-1 then it's a 3 way tie in series score between Rail, Kelazhur and Time. Mapscore would be 5-4, 5-4, 5-5. Im assuming at this point Khelazur is eliminated and they take the H2H between the two 3-2 (5-4) players. Edit: RIP my guardian pic, which I had for so many years

The one exception is Maru, who went 4-1 and claimed the first place with tiebreaker rule, h2h vs special.
