It's litterally only PvP disruptors that foreigners are winnning at I find clashing metagames very interesting. For example in WCS America it was always interesting to see match-ups between Chinese players and non-Chinese players. In the case of PvP the foreign meta stayed mostly disruptor focused with minor variations this year, whereas in Korea it went from disruptors -> PICA -> adept-centric -> disruptors. Yeah but not when the Koreans end up copying the european style to face them with and it doesn't work because they have 0 experience in it I don't think they're copying the Europeans tbh, I think they got to a disruptor comp. organically since it was so good against the adept/sentry/immortal/archon good stuff compositions that they were going for before.

Not going as far as making Lilbows, but not practicing as well as they would have if the news were more cheerful in KR. these are all good points.. but isn't first prize $200K USD? wouldn't a solid chance at that kind of money provide motivation?

In the case of tournament games you would have the overall picture as well, just for a few fights here and there (or harass) switch to first person pov and show us how amazing the players really are.
