This was over a month ago, though he did go to HSC in the intervening time, which makes his time on US soil slightly short of a month. Either way by WCS Montreal he'll have been in the US for more than one month.

I'd consider the "first match" to be the first match in Montreal, by which time he will have lived one month in the US. This is just a qualifier for the event, and so he'd be eligible.

I'd still call this an awful build. TLO had a faster hive than that in one of his games, and he had two more bases, and wasn't at half the supply of the terran at the 7 minute mark.
