then protoss has better aggressive strategies than terran while also having better defenses? and on top of that being always ahead in economy because of OP chronoboost

He didn't fully lose his natural until after critical damage had finally been dealt to him. The sad thing is, he was consistently holding Zest to one base himself, but Protoss can still push through tanks, medivacs, bunkers, etc. and clinch the win.

is there like a single game where Zest doesn't go some combination of blink and dts?

He held Zest on 1-base mining with 1 liberator and 1 marine. Zest held Maru on 1-base mining with 10 stalkers that attacked into 4 marines and an unfinished bunker.

Can't wait for separate MMR and defend everything early game with overcharge. :D

I'm a huge Maru fan and want to find some kind of excuse for him performing like this, but honestly, in some ways I think this format fits Maru better than long-prep head-to-heads. I think this *should* be his ideal format, because he's often been the player who would go in and win off-the-cuff in really impressive ways.

Why change when you're far and away the best player in the world at a certain matchup?
