Would mass spores/spines and maybe swarmhost viper or some other combination of units work? It seems that the problem is that there is not enough detection, and liberators don't harm buildings, so the only threat of the ghost/liberator ultra late game would be the ghosts and nukes.

Yeah but their attack speed is so low, 100 lings should still beat 20 ghosts right? Maybe add 20 banes. Liberators can't kill your buildings so I think just going ling/bling can be good vs ghost/lib. I just think anything would be better than ravager, they just get sniped and do nothing. Lings at least keep cancel the steady targeting.

I just went to check if ghosts could snipe spores and snipes and I learned that the ability is called "Steady Targeting" not snipe. TIL

imo the best solution is corruptors viper for the liberators and infestator baneling for the ghosts and try to go around the siege zones obviously. At some point snute sent a bunch of roaches and it forced the whole happy army back. He could juste have played around that to catch him up unsieged but instead he prefered to fight head on
