You need 1 medivac per tank so if you're tying up your port with Viking production you'll be extremely low on medivac numbers. Which means you couldn't reposition your own tanks. So even if they'd lose all their medivacs it wouldn't matter because they'd still obtain better positioning with their tanks. I think it would also make defending doom drops awkward since if you're out of position with your vikings you'd just lose the entire base. A big part of defending dooms is just boosting your tanks over to kill marines and they're dropping. | ||
