But that wont happen, because it's Polt. edit: And Rain. yeah cuz rain never cheeses

this will be an interesting series, since both players haven't been great lately
hoping Rain will win

Criticism in its own right, but there will be no senselessly bashing Lilbow in this thread. I honestly think it's pretty justified. This is the worst show of attitude I've seen from a pro since Naniwa I don't think so. It's not like Lilbow threw or something. He qualified for Blizzcon, it happened to collide with LotV, he made a decision. I mean that's what many people have talked about, that once the LotV beta is out it will slowly start to kill HotS and we just have to accept that. I think we should be so fair to at least aknowldege that this isn't Lilbow being disrespectful towards the fans or the game, but really just prioritizing LotV over HotS now, since HotS is dead in the foreign scene while there are actual LotV tournaments all the time. Everyone prioritizes his/her own interest when taking a decision. But some people make respect for others factor in their decisions. Sadly, Lilbow didn't.

Life and Lilbow working together to prove the WCS system won't give us a better show.

Of course he is. He is as angry as he should be. He did a shameful display. What are people going to think of the foreign scene after that ? This is our best representative ? He can still redeem himself at DH Winter, I just don't get why anybody expected something different. It was phisically impossible to get efficient practice for this during the last 4 weeks. Of course he should've still done better than he did, because you don't lose 3 games like this in a row. Even if you played only LotV. Honestly, getting crushed like this happens. But the attitude, especially THIS is what bothers me. But again, there was no way for him to practice! If he went to Korea for practice, every single replay would've been sent to Life. So he stayed in EU, but there the server has been dead since WCS Season 3. It was a dilemma, so he choce to focus on DH winter, I don't blame him. He could've still done better today though, even while playing HotS, losing 3 games like this in a row is not necessary. You don't get it. Making a choice is fine. But the attitude is outrageous. Who would have blamed him if he lost to Life even if he didn't mention how he didn't practice ?

Or maybe he'll be smart enough not to brag about not practicing for a tournament that should be a lifetime achievement ? I wouldn't mind Polt reaching the final only to be disrespected 4-0 with 7RR

How do you lose respect for a guy that 3-0s people? That's sort of what competition is all about. If anything I lost a bit of respect for Lilbow for not practicing at all, but I get the logic for it. The way he played is very disrespectful to Lilbow, if he played 3-0 on Macro games, then fine no-one would have a problem. He didn't need to though. If his all ins had been repelled I'm sure he would have moved to macro games. But he won because the purpose of these games is to win. But I guess Lilbow didn't see it that way.
It's hilarious that Life has become an honorary Protoss.

I think this issue is that Lilbow went straight for the excuses, i don't think polt will do the same.
