The cool thing about that build was that he used both the map (to fake the immortal all in) and then the metagame. It was popular for a while to fake an immortal all in and tech to dark shrine behind it. I believe Flash saw the twilight council and was completely fooled since Trap got storm instead.

I think that is the case too, It's just such an unorthodox to do in the current metagame that almost any Terran would probably be fooled. It was a smart build selection I can't lie.

He shouldn't have lost that, ever, that's true. Also the fact that Trap could afford that one base blink all-in into DTs on Inferno Pools is ridiculous, still not sure how he had the gas for that.
