He didn't even have an infestation pit... Life had 2-1, infestation pit ready, so he could've just gotten hive and have even more of an upgrade lead.
To be honest, if soO wanted to been aggressive he should have been aggressive at least a minute or two before he actually did. Also soO was about to have 2-1 aswell and he would be able to make an infestor transition on a map like Deadwing with a very long rush distance

Looking at all the maps I wouldn't necessarily say it's incredibly Zerg favoured but it's pretty bad for Protoss.
I think its very zerg favored..Vaani, Expedition Lost, Iron Fortress, Cactus Valley..great zerg maps.
There are more races than Protoss and Zerg though. I'd say none of those are super horrible for Terran (Vaani probably best Terran map in that pool except Merry Go Round).

I think its very zerg favored..Vaani, Expedition Lost, Iron Fortress, Cactus Valley..great zerg maps.
There are more races than Protoss and Zerg though. I'd say none of those are super horrible for Terran (Vaani probably best Terran map in that pool except Merry Go Round).
Vaani is pretty balanced. Cactus Valley is a sick forcefield map. Deadwing is still around which is very protoss favored.

I still think its very impressive for life to be even in that game..He was only on 3 hatch (barely after Byul killed most of his drones in the third) and Byul had a 4th gold base.

ByuL's bank was almost 4k 3k. As long as Life doesn't individually snipe larvae at 2 bases he doesn't gain as much as you'd hope from killing the bases.

Yes, but in that situation Byul was attacking with his roaches to life, to remax he needed to select hatcheries and press r, but if his hatcheries were destroyed it would ve take 2-3 seconds where could kill buyls uncontrolled roaches easily.

after life held the roach 1/1 attack with muta roach easily being up in supply tech workers everything there was the typical life "i owned you lets amove into your rally point moment"

You don't get attention by calling the obvious choices.
All of the series were 2-1, so I like to think it was just as likely I could have gotten everything right so far.
But you gotta have that, Byul Life feeling. Soo is going to get tilted in the first round in a ZvZ against Life. Byul Life was a bit of a toss up but Byul getting out first kind of cements it for me, Soo still on Tilt against Trap, Trap eeking out the 2-1 now has to play a better zerg who watched his last series and who already beat him

Not a huge fan of Byul but his talent is undeniable. He's kind of like soO to me, good and solid in his gameplay but kinda unremarkable. I guess he likes to proxy hatch a lot, but his play isn't like super distinctive or anything. Life on the other hand... Glad to have 2 good, albeit very different, Zergs get out of the group.

I dont recognize many people. if you look at my post history, you can see that I recognize him for his handsomeness. whatever he lacks in sc2 skill, he makes up in handsomeness. Seriously, this guy can be one of the world's top model if he wanted to.
So although I dont think his achievements mean much, I do think he is a top 3 most handsome player in all of starcraft (bw and sc2)
Actually Byul is just a super handsome guy by anyones standard.
